Cat’s Cradle Critter Sitter is looking for Mature Reliable Dependable INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS in Surrey, Delta, Langley, and White Rock!

If you:
- love all animals (but have a particular affinity for cats 😻);
- have a car and a smart phone,
- have no criminal record and are bondable,
- are able to pet sit many weekends and holidays,
- would like to supplement your current income with a fun and rewarding “job”......then this is the gig for you!

Please note:
- This is not an “employee” position - it is neither full- time nor part-time, and there are no guaranteed hours.
- As an Independent Contractor, you would be offered petsitting gigs based on the clients’ needs, and would have the right to turn down any that you don’t want to do.
- Successful applicants must live in Surrey, Langley, or White Rock to make it worth their time.

Haven’t seen Kurious in a long time either... ❤️
It’s so good to be back at work the last two months, since it slowed down so drastically due to Covid and travel restrictions... (And is about to slow down again, once camping season is over in BC...😕. But for now, I’m enjoying every minute with my furry charges! 🥰

Welcome to my page!

I've been an animal-lover since the day I was born, and have cared for my own and neighbour's pets since I was a little girl, so it made sense for me to start a pet-sitting business when I got tired of working for a big corporation...

After taking a leave of absence from the "major Canadian airline" I'd been with for 17 years, I took a Veterinary Assistant course, and passed with the highest marks in the class (and have the plaque to prove it ;-) )

Then, after gaining valuable work experience at a few vet clinics, I formally resigned from my corporate job, took the Self-Employment course at Douglas College, started Cat's Cradle in 2005, and have never looked back!

Not a day goes by that I don't say at least once, "I *love* my job!".

As a Certified Vet Assistant, I have the training and experience to give insulin injections, sub-cutaneous (SQ) fluids, and all oral medications - and I'm very skilled at giving cats a "Pawdicure" ;-) .

As well, my company is bonded and insured, and recommended by local veterinarians.

Cats are my specialty! I treat your cats as if they're my own - I'll love them up lots if they want it, or leave them alone if they don't ;-)
