Time for a Introduction!

We're a boutique in-home CKC Samoyed breeding operation based in Whitehorse, Yukon, situated amidst Canada's northwest territory and surrounded by majestic mountains.

Founded in 2022 by myself, Nay, Yukon Samoyeds was born from my deep love for Samoyeds. That same year, Manuka entered my life, quickly followed by Koromiko. In the Yukon, where life is a bit wilder, our dogs are part of the family. We spend our days enjoying the fresh air through activities like camping, boating, fishing, and hiking, or simply relaxing. We don't mind if the dogs get a little dirty; a good bath is often a sign of a great adventure.

I was drawn to Samoyeds for their friendly and caring personalities, as well as their incredible endurance, which allows them to thrive in our harsh -40°C winters.

Samoyeds are playful, loving, and extremely friendly dogs. Our mission is to share the joy of Samoyeds with others while educating, supporting, and engaging with our community of like-minded enthusiasts.

We are currently working towards our CKC championships, running the necessary health testing and participating in training all with the goal of becoming puppy parents in 2025!

Our waitlist for the 2025 litter is now open and filling quickly. If you believe we’d be a great match, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Manuka won 3 points towards her championship this weekend at the Yukon Kennel Clubs 50th Annual show with x2 3rd place in group and 1x 4th place in group! We are so proud of her.

Good morning from Koromiko

Shedding season is upon us!

We finally had a break through with Koromiko yesterday at school! We had to ensure everything was in our favour by arriving 45 minutes early to class, letting him sniff the whole area, played some ball and did some practice. Since we do not feed him breakfast on class days he was only happy to work for me! Having an intact male can always be a challenge, as 2 of our class peers were in heat providing extra distraction to our young boys. But hey, finally at class 4 for the season we are finally getting back into the groove! Don't give up, keep pushing through for those good days.
