I’m not techy ! Your family is our family! We offer exercise, socialization if applicable! We have lots for you friend to see! Cows , horses and obviously other dogs! 160 acres to explore that are fenced. We are a small kennel that can only accommodate maximum of 12 dogs, normally 8. This is so that the dogs we have get individual care. We are a small 2 man care unit. No change of careers just the 2 of us…so we only take what we can manage. We like to get to know our visitors…even just for a short stay.
We do NOT just turn your family out with strangers! (Other dogs) this is not the place for play day. We like to assess the situation first!

This beautiful girl is nearly 15 years old! She worked hard (Pyrenees) guarding our sheep, property, out in all weathers.. -50 some years. She earned her retirement years ago.. but only the last few years wanted some comfort. Been on palliative care for the last year. We medicate her every day. Last of our ‘real’ working dogs. She’s become a home bird (inside girl) she sheds uncontrollably! Hair everywhere! But hey what’s a little hair when there is love?

It’s hard work wishing all our clients and their four legged family a Happy New Year! We have loved so many over the last six years! I apologize if we don’t remember the parents. We do remember every family member that comes to visit. Our heart breaks for our visitors that have passed. They tugged our heart and were very special. We have watched them age as we do..
Your ‘dog’ is not just a dog when he-she comes here…they are part human of our family with their own little quirks ❤️❤️❤️

Hi everyone! Yes we are open this winter and for Christmas ! Thanks to Sunshine Plumbing we have sorted our unpredictable heating! We may not have the doggie hotel facilities but after 6 years our doggies enjoy one on one and plenty of playtime and lots of cuddles! They are not locked up for hours on end with no interaction . Every couple of hours throughout the day they have fun! They get to experience horses, cows and our own dogs. We don’t ‘socialize ‘ randomly. If you pet requires ‘me’ time that’s what they get. It’s a holiday ‘!
We are a small facilitie that cares! We have limited facilities in our home for ‘small’ dinky dogs that are fully house trained.

Summer? It’s been so nice to see old paws and new ones 😉
We are now taking bookings for winter holidays, Xmas and New year! Where has this year gone?! There will be a 50% non refundable deposit for Xmas Week starting Xmas eve until 2nd Jan to secure your place at time of booking. No pick up/drop off 25/26 December and 1st January so we can enjoy our festivities while taking care of your pet.

I have a house full of dogs , some visitors, and our own. They are more demanding than toddlers most of the time 🙈 but it’s such a pleasure to have them. We have 7 dogs of our own, 4 are in the house at bedtime. The others are out protecting their perimeter. It’s manic at feeding time. That’s without kennels dogs when we are open. Welcome to the zoo! Totally out-numbered 😂 we care and the love returned is 2nd to none ❤️❤️❤️❤️ ps Saska has taken herself off to bed!

We have loved welcoming our visitors for the spring and summer season. Thank you for all your support, much appreciated!

Due to the rising costs of heating the main kennels, we have decided to close for the winter months. Unless there is a demand!
I will post availability.

IF you have a small (20lbs and below)indoor dog we will remain open with my dog room in my home. This space is limited.

We hope to see you all again in the spring!

Only previous clientele for the time being. All vaccination records must be resubmitted at time of booking. Etransfer only, before collection.

Good morning! Due to this lovely virus we will be taking precautions when dropping off and picking up your dogs. All payments to be made by etransfer to [email protected] before collection and entrance to the kennels unavailable.
So sorry these measures have to be taken but it's for all of our own interests.

rates are $25 per day outdoor kennel and run
indoor $30 per day limited space.
2 dogs sharing from the same home are discounted, please ask.

FEES INCLUDE GST

drop off after 8am and pick up before 1pm following day. After 1pm is subject to an additional daily charge. 14 day successive stay, no charge for afternoon pick up on day of collection.
