I’ve graciously been offered a place to continue to run my training business out of. That being said I am now accepting clients for August!
I will now be based out of a private farm in Cavan. There are limited spots so they will fill up quickly!
All my training is done from the ground up, giving them a solid foundation to go in any direction.

Xavo the yearling working on some ground manners and picking up his feet! it’s always great to start them on the basics young, setting them up right for when they get started under saddle.
As I am working on getting a facility to continue to train out of, I am still travelling the Lindsay and surrounding areas.
I have a couple spots still open for ground work, breaking, restarts etc!

Owner is motivated!
Sage is an approx 8 year old grade paint standing roughly 15.1h.
He came to me in the winter to start undersaddle.
He’s a sensitive guy who needs patience and someone with confidence. He was going walk trot undersaddle before he had an accident in the field and has now had a couple months off. I am happy to disclose the injury to those seriously interested.
He is the kind of horse that you cannot let sit for more than a couple of days. He does best in a program working 5/6 days a week. He relies on the confidence of his handler so again, needs someone confident with experience.
Since sitting he will need a full restart, which all of this reflects his price.
Also note, his feet are overdue, we had to wait until the injury healed to have them trimmed again.

It’s been a busy month here with training!
Joni the pony arrived at the end of February to be started under saddle. A complete clean slate after being given the last 3 years to grow - here she is learning how to pick her rider up at the mounting block.
We are now booking into May, very limited spots and they fill up quick!

Snickers is a 10 year old 16h OTTB mare.
She’s got a lot of tricks and buttons under her belt. Goes bridleless, jumps, obstacles, ponies the youngsters for me. She’ll do it all. She’s an easy straight forward ride - I taught tons of lessons on her in the past. Always taking care of her rider.
Hoping to find someone who just wants to enjoy her while i focus on my young ones.

Pipsqueak is still in search of his new home!
Pip is a 5 year old 14.1h grade QH gelding.
Pip is very consistent everytime he comes out.
He’s going a solid wtc, picking up contact nicely with smooth gaits and a great woah. He’s got a soft mouth so prefers someone with soft hands and a soft seat.
He is a one person horse, so not suitable for a lesson program.
Great ground manners, will stand in cross ties for hours to be groomed.

Pipsqueak is a 5 year old 14.1h grade QH gelding!
Pipsqueak has spent the last 90 days with me in training and has turned into a lovely boy. He’s a smooth ride, going wtc picking up contact nicely and has a good woah. Pip is a very smart horse, but still considered green so best suited to someone who is experienced! He prefers someone with soft hands and a soft seat.
No vices or past injuries. Barefoot and an easy keeper. Good for vet and farrier.

Frank is a 3 year old QH gelding who came to me after unfortunately not being started in the right hands. He was pushed too hard too fast and never got a chance to think about what was being asked of him and just learned to react in a negative way. We have worked hard over the last month to teach him that he doesn’t have to react and gave him a minute to think about what was being asked of him.
He is now learning that he can be relaxed while I get on and off without having to react.

It was about time I got a training page up and going! So let’s put Pipsqueak in the spot light first!
Pip came with very little confidence and had a tendency to shut down when asked to do anything. He’s now going WJL calmly and willingly with tons of confidence. Here’s a quick look at his first time being asked to lope.
Pipsqueak will be looking for his new home at the end of October.
