Pluto loves going on adventures with the volunteers! Recently he got to go on a fishing trip, where he sat quietly and enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air. Not only that, but he does so well on the car rides that take him to his destination. He is maturing so well and we are so proud of the progress he has made! He is still looking for a forever home, too, so if you are looking for a fishing/adventure buddy then Pluto is the dog for you!

Please give a warm welcome to Marge and her three kittens, Homer, Bart and Ralphie (all male). They are the newest intakes here at the WRHS and we are already falling in love with them! The kittens are suuuuper friendly and love to play. Marge is a dutiful mom and is very loving herself. They are all settling in nicely and making themselves at home. FOSTER HOME NEEDED 🏠

Recently, we took Venus in to be spayed, however, she has been keeping a secret from us for quite some time.... SURPRISE, she is pregnant!!! The WRHS is seeking a foster home where Venus can relax and have her litter of kittens. Venus is due within the next couple of weeks and the total time commitment of the foster would be approximately 3 months. All supplies needed for fostering are completely FREE as everything will be provided by the shelter. If you have any other questions, or if you are interested in taking on this fostering opportunity, please email us at [email protected]!

Zilla is one of the longest standing residents here at the WRHS. He is such a loving, playful guy who enjoys zooming through tunnels and playing with every toy in sight. Zilla has vastly improved his socialization skills with the other cats at the shelter, which we are so proud of! He enjoys affection - just on his own terms! These 4 orphaned kittens were found all alone at just two weeks old. They have been thriving in foster care ever since, where they were bottle fed and nursed back to health. Now 9-weeks old, they are almost ready to find their fur-ever homes! Please welcome to the shelter, Hershey (F), Cadbury (F), Reese (M) and Kit Kat (M). They are suuuuuch loving kittens who never stop purring and love giving kisses. They have received their first set of vaccines, deworming and a health check by a veterinarian.
