At Wild Rose Humane Society we work towards providing valuable services to the community and to the animals. We also work with adoption programs to re-home animals in need.

Jasper or Jasp purr purr as his foster mom calls him.

Jasper came to the Wild Rose Humane Society in a trap and was terrified, scared out of his mind. The concerned citizen let him out of the trap before we could get him into a kennel. Which isn't great as we had no idea or the temperament, vaccine history or any information.

Jasper still isn't fond of humans, I mean who can blame the poor chap. However he absolutely loves to play with his kitty friends. Jasper is a patient paw and will need a special home or heated shop with kitty friends.

Congratulations to our girl JAVA!!!!

Java was adopted from us and we wish her nothing but the best on her new adventure.

Little Toby would like to tell you he is very upset that no one has come to meet him!!!

Look at how grumpy he is !!!!

Toby is the only boy in our younger 3x T kittens. You may have seen him called Trudy but SURPRISE he has little tiny testicles. Thus the name change to Toby.

Toby is siblings with Tansy (similar markings) & Trixie (Tabby & White)

They will be available to go to their forever home at the end of this month!

This month we are holding another clear the shelter event!!!!
Like many other rescues we are OVER CAPACITY or should we say CATpacity 🤣 and have had to stop intakes❗

So from Feb 14th - March 15th all our animals have reduced adoption fees.

With Archie being adopted, we needed a new cat of the month. So who better to choose than his sister Amethyst!!

Amethyst is absolutely amazing exactly like her brother!! Amethyst loves to also climb on your shoulders and demand a cuddle. Amethyst loves to play with her friends here at the shelter or be cuddled in one of the volunteers arms.

ARCHIE IS A ADOPTED!!!!!!

We are so excited to announce that our shoulder climbing, cuddle demanding, amazing boy has been adopted!!!!

His new family absolutely adore him and are enjoying all of his antics. We wish him nothing but the best in his new home!!!

Today, our new pups are out of quarantine!!!

Which means..... they got to meet the rest of our canine crew at WRHS

We first tested them with our test dog Clifford. Clifford loves when he gets new babies to spoil and play with. They did great with Clifford, so then it was time to introduce them to the rest of the crew.

Little Hutch is so brave! He was the first to run up to the big dogs and say, "Hey," 👋

Big boy Starsky hung back, and once he realized it was okay, he went up and said hey to his new friends.

Who remembers Dexter from our D kittens in 2021??
Dexter was one of Daisy's kittens and was adopted when he was about 6 months old.

We think he is living his best life with his new family!!

Miss Bailey!!
Bailey is an absolute sweetheart. You can always find her running and playing with her friends here at the shelter. Bailey has some extra toe beans, so we have to make sure that her nails stay nice and short so that they don't become an issue. Bailey is great with dogs and loves to be in the company of humans.

Dash absolutely loves going to our dog volunteer homes. He gets to hang out with his dog friends. They even share beds for a quick break. Dash is such an amazing goofy guy who loves to be in the company of people.
