Welcome To Kissable K9's page! We are a cosmetic service for your fur baby's teeth. We provide a calm and relaxing environment and deliver excellent results. Check out our before and after pictures to see for yourself! We are a service designed to be used with home care and veterinarian visits to maintain results. To achieve our cosmetic results we use hand instruments and brushing. Our tools gently remove tartar from the tooth surface above the gum line to reveal white shiny teeth. Kissable K9 Care offers an affordable cosmetic tooth cleaning service that includes brushing and scaling with the use of hand instruments above the gum line. Jill Thompson is the owner of Kissable K9 and works with clients to ensure the comfort of their dogs and cats while delivering excellent results. Jill and her passionate staff believe in the importance of an animal’s well-being and are honoured to work with their client’s dogs and cats. Cosmetic Teeth cleaning is a legal service. Jill was the first individual to bring this cosmetic service to Ontario. Jill is a trained graduate of the Wellness Animal Institute, she has trained students in Ontario and has worked on over 3000 dogs without any complications.
WHAT DOES “COSMETIC TEETH CLEANING” MEAN?
A cosmetic teeth cleaning refers to removing tartar by brushing and scaling above the gum line while the animal is awake. Any health issues more than tartar build up (rotting teeth, infections) will need to be treated by a vet. Technicians at Kissable K9 are not veterinarians and are unable to treat serious oral health issues. If you have brought your pet in for an appointment and the technician realizes that oral health issues need to be addressed they will not continue with the procedure and you do not pay for the service.
