We also carry a small selection of pet foods and pet care products. We've been serving pets in Martensville and nearby communities for 25 years. Dr. Brenna graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 and had her first day with the outstanding team at Martensville Veterinary Hospital yesterday!

Dr. Brenna shared that she is eager to further develop her veterinary skills by working in a clinic that offers high quality medicine. When she's not helping animals and their owners, you can find her outside hiking, skiing and fishing. Bonus if her loved ones are with her!

She and her partner have a cat named Freyja who they love very much. She admitted that she may be biased on this remark, but Dr. Brenna thinks Freyja is one of the best cats in the world😻

Absolutely beautiful... but my dog would disagree. Every burst of color makes him more anxious. He doesn't suffer alone in this. Many animals, including cats and dogs, have anxiety when it comes to fireworks. If your pet is new to your family or has previously experienced anxiety with fireworks, take care not to let them outside this weekend (cats) or ensure that they are well secured in your yard for their trips outside.

Some days he's like a kitten, but more and more we're seeing old man Purrg :( Don't worry lil' buddy. In our hearts you'll always be, forever young.

Emergency preparedness starts with making sure your pet can easily be identified as yours. A collar can come off but a microchip stays with your pet. ***IMPORTANT!*** Make sure that you keep the contact information on the microchip updated so you can be reached when your pet is found.

We often assume that when children are bitten by a dog, it is a stray or an unfamiliar dog. That assumption is incorrect. This is why it is so important to teach your child proper pet etiquette early.

Historically, we have had 4 categories: canines, felines, exotics, and fan favorite. This year we are changing it up. We are only going to have 1 category: Fan favorite. Submissions can be sent to us via email ([email protected]). All submissions will be posted on Facebook on October 30th and the photo with the most likes on November 1st (5 pm) will be declared the winner. Late entries will be added to the album as they come in. The prize this year is going to be amazing! So make sure you get your submissions in!

Cartrophen Vet relieves pain, lameness and increases the range of pain-free movement as it treats the underlying disease processes, not just the symptoms. Our team is devoted to providing exceptional care for our clients and their pets. We are a full service small animal medical centre just North of Saskatoon. We provide preventative and urgent care examinations, emergency and elective surgery such as lump removals, spays and neuters. Our veterinarians and veterinary technologists take advanced training in dentistry, nutrition, rehabilitation and behavioural medicine. We have a diagnostic suite including digital radiology, ultrasound, urinalysis, blood chemistry, clotting and emergency panels. We also carry a small selection of high quality dental care, skin care products, treats, and veterinary exclusive foods. Most of our patients are dogs, cats and rabbits but we welcome all pet species:) Our veterinary clinic has been serving pets in Martensville and nearby towns for over 25 years and has strong community ties. We help rescue pets and wildlife from our area and northern SK- working with or volunteering for the SPCA, Western College of Veterinary Medicine Wellness rotation, Wildlife Rehabilitation of Saskatchewan, and Canine Action Project to name just a few. We actively strive to reduce our environmental impact. Team members donate time to educate children in schools for career days and dog bite prevention. We have provided free oxygen masks and training to local fire departments as well as first aid kits and training to the Saskatoon Police Department K9 unit. We provide an annual grade 12 scholarship for excellence in science and support our local city festivals and fundraisers. We offer free public pet loss support at our Ever In our Hearts events. Our vet clinic has also hosted a free pet wellness conferences for our community.
