Andrea is an excellent clinician who focuses on creating a soft, supple and willing equine partner. Both green and more advanced horses can benefit from this clinic. All disciplines and levels of riders are welcome.

Riders will get to have a lesson in the morning and afternoon.

If you missed the boat on our first prospect we listed, don't worry! This puppy dog friendly filly will be listed early summer after a solid 90 day start. She is built right and will succeed in any direction!

We are gearing up for another busy year and will be offering several riding/prospect horses this year!

Thank you for all the inquiries. We are very excited to see this 3 year old go off to his new home in Alberta!

We have decided to let ONE of our two stunning 3-year old AQHA prospects go this winter (1 dark palomino, 1 cremello)

Very well bred and both paid into Western Fortunes.
Both Sired by Riverside Frost Two, who is a son of PC Double Frost with strong foundation breeding on the bottom.

Either or would be great in ANY direction. They have been fully handled, saddled, bridled, trailer loading and are ready to be broken in. Always kept on a regular vaccination and trimming schedule.

Would there be any interest in our area if we were to host Elm Creek Equine Veterinary Services for a "wellness day" for our equine friends in January?

We would have limited openings but if there was enough interest then we would book two days. Their wellness packages include a physical examination, protection from serious illness on a thorough vaccination protocal, f***l egg count with dewormer recommendation, oral examination plus discounted add-ons!
Multi-horse discounts apply and no mileage fees!

Fire of Alabama "Dwight"

If you're looking for a really fun horse to ride at home and take him to the local jackpots or work at home and have a good time, this is your guy. I've done everything with Dwight. We've crossed creeks and gone through various trails and sandhills, chased cattle, ridden bridleless, attended clinics, etc. Dwight has been hauled to numerous overnight events and hauls like a dream. He can be left tied to the trailer all day and will never pull back. He is not cinchy or cold backed and is great with the farrier, vet, and chiropractor.
He is not just a barrel horse but is one of those unicorns that can transition to any event and enjoy every ride in between. Dwight will work all day for you and I can see him excelling in roping or pasture/feedlot jobs.

Dwight has worked the flag when he was younger and attended various cow horse clinics at 3-4 years of age under names such as Jeff Switzer, Taylor Douglas and Dale Clearwater. He has also attended barrel racing clinics with Krystal Grad and Dawn Vandersteen. Dwight has not had his legs run off as I only compete at a handful of events every summer where he has clocked me anywhere from 2D-4D. It really just depends how fast you want him to go that day. I tend to just cruise him. He's clocked top of 2D in large pens with over 100+ horses and will easily clock 1D as I've never asked him for speed. Tends to be a bit slower in smaller indoor pens but I'm not aggressive so this will change if you like speed. He's had a six week refresher this January with Krystal Grad. He's also spent time on the pattern with Sharra Sage for a few months when he was younger during my first pregnancy. Dwight can also run/ride through any type of terrain and runs just as strong through mud as he does sand. He knows where his feet are at all times and is a well balanced barrel horse. He could very easily transition to work with cattle or a feedlot and has had a rope swung off him. He's very eager to please and can work all day without a second thought. He has roped off a bull that unexpectedly got out at the trainer's and he happened to be the one under saddle at the time so he got the call to work and did great. He can long trot behind an ATV and can be ridden through ditches and roads.
Spins, counter arcs, serpentines - he can do them all. He's also exactly the same horse with time off and doesn't get "fresh". He has a very smooth lope and can easily pick up his lope from a walk. Big people pleaser, he just wants to get the job done and make you look good doing it!

He's fancy and has all the moves. Dwight is a very smooth ride and has a memorizing movement. Also knows the pole bending pattern. He's one of two horses I rode when I was over 6m pregnant and is very trustworthy. You can ride him in the fields, arena or a parking lot for all he cares. Pull up at an event and hop right on! He's the same everywhere.

This horse is the real deal if you're just looking to have a good time hauling down the road or give him a job at home.
Would make a great junior or high school rodeo horse. Would recommend an intermediate rider as Dwight is powerful and athletic.
He honestly has no quirks and you get what you see with him. Tons of photos and videos available. He's been my #1 guy since 2017.

Just a raw uncut clip of what riding a c**t can look like on a colder, windier day. Amelia had a hard time focusing but still managed to give some clean lead changes which we just introduced to her a few rides ago.
These are the rides that make them grow - staying calm and patient really helps them gain confidence ❤️

Wranglers Im Peppy "Amelia" handled her first trip away from home this year with flying colors! Parades, cows, traffic, overnight stays and baby sitting was all part of her busy weekend!

She had a late start to the barrels and this is only her 5th time loping through the pattern. She has been an easy one to bring along!

"Bets" is a daughter of Silky Ta Fame who is already producing extremely successful barrel horses in the futurity pen this year! You don't have to look very hard to see the success they've been having!

Bets was broken in as a three year old with professional training for two months last summer and her riding continued well into the fall until she had the winter off. She picked up where we left off this spring with inconsistent riding until this summer where she has been ridden more consistently.
She is very responsive to leg pressure and cues and has a really light feel. She knows her leads, counter arcs, etc.
She's been working on circles and lightly on barrels but is no way considered patterned yet.
She's attended a two day clinic as a three year old and has been ridden out on the road on her own.
Easy to catch, wash, trim feet, haul, etc.
Teeth, feet, vaccinations and chiro up to date. (Her right hip is slightly higher than her left. We've had it internally examined by a vet and a chiropractor/osteopath with no noted concerns).

She would do best with a rider who knows how to ride young horses to carry on with her training.

We've been hanging on to her in hopes that she will get bigger but unfortunately it doesn't look like she will reach the height we were looking for so we've decided to let her go to a home where that's not an issue for them! She's ready for someone to come and finish her your way!

We can help arrange transportation and have shipped many horses across Canada.
PPE welcome at buyers expense.

Eva is headed out west to be spoiled by one lucky girl.
We have some sad kids here but we always strive for a perfect match up and we have no doubt they will have much success in the future!

Nala is headed out west to see her new owners today. We are excited to see this partnership form and wish them all the best!

A few days late but wanted to take the time to thank everyone who registered and attended the Equine Rehab Equine Massage course and congrats to everyone receiving your CEMT (Certified Equine Massage Therapist) designation!

It was a long week with long days but your passion to expand your knowledge and desire to help horses has not gone unnoticed!

A large thank you to Sidonia McIntyre for sharing your knowledge here with us in Manitoba. It was such a great opportunity for so many of us to attend!

A personal congrats goes out to Marianne Renaud who also attended the course and received her CEMT designation!

Wishing the students all the best with their new formed knowledge for their equine partners!

This project started back in February 2021 when we took the plunge to move ahead with the barn and moving the horses to Dunrea away from my parents farm just down the road.
It couldn't have been done without the incredible help of my dad, brother in law and husband who have worked tirelessly putting together this barn completely (and I mean completely) from scratch!

We are almost done with only a few small things left on our list and what an incredible journey it's been.
