I'm so glad that most pups (like this loveable big boy, Winston) are happy to see me for their pawdicure. The treats help for sure. lol. ❤️🐾
I decided to post one of my more difficult trims. I want to dispel the perception that all the animals I work with just sit there and hand me their paws. I wish! Despite some pets being extremely difficult, when I first meet them, I work very hard to help them learn to relax for the process. Especially the ones that have had bad experiences in the past. Ravenna… This little gorgeous girl, used to require sedation for nail trims. Even for a housecall, her owner would give her a sedative before I arrived, prescribed by the veterinarian. I really hate to see animals have to be sedated for nail trimming. It’s hard on their bodies. This is the second time I’ve worked with her without sedation… She still hates the nail trimming, but I am so happy that I can work with her with a cone and a towel so that she doesn’t need a sedative. I’m confident that over time we will be able to use just a cone. And I’m very happy that when the procedure is over, she doesn’t run away; she sticks around, and eventually, somewhat reluctantly, eats the treats I offer her. The video is a little long, but I hope you enjoy.
I know I post a lot of videos about the pets that are happy to see me… Even if they don’t enjoy having their nails done. But here’s some proof that it’s not always the case 😂.
Little Millie is having a pawdicure, an eye clean, and a sanitary trim and clean today. I sit on the floor in the bathroom with her for the service to make clean-up easy… And to limit the places she can hide. As you can see, she’s extremely stealthy and trying to fit in with the white tub. She really is a very good girl for the service 🐾
I love when Buster greets me at the door for his pawdicure. He just turned 15 years old! Happy birthday Buster! ❤️🎂
Ding Ding is always such a sweetie for his pawdicure ❤️
Chloe is not a fan of her pawdicure - but I try to reassure here it’s all going to be ok. She’s one of my squirmiest pups, but we get it done, and she’s so sweet. It always makes me laugh that she refuses to take a treat from me until I’m finished and the cone is off. 😂 ❤️ 🐾
MILO loves a treat after his Pawdicure. Such a good boy. #petvalu2351 #petpawdicuresmobile
Hi all. I own and operate Pet Pawdicures Mobile Nail Trimming Service in Mississauga. I love Natural Dog Company products...but they aren’t easy to find locally and expensive to order online from the USA. I have decided to become a retailer of some of their products. I religiously use their Pawtection and Skin Soother for my dog, and I just tried the shampoo bar and really liked it.
For those interested I have a VERY limited supply of Snout Soother (2oz tin), Wrinkle Balm (2oz tin), and Spruce Up Pup Shampoo bars. Pricing is in the attached image. You can porch pick up or I’m happy to deliver for free if you’re in my immediate area...or will mail via Canada post at your expense.
Thanks all!
