Remembering Farmer Dave (1961-2019)
Dave Wilson founded Horse Hill Berry Farm with his wife Jackie, and neighbour Todd, in 2007. We are thankful for all the time, effort and creativity he brought to the first decade of our berry farm. We miss him and honour his memory each year providing U-Pick raspberries for Edmonton area folks.

Updated Hours for our final weekend of U-Pick!
We’ll be open 9-4, Saturday and Sunday, August 24-25. A reminder that we have plenty of honey and jam in stock! 🍯‼️

Our season is coming to an end, so here’s some important updates 👇

❗️We are currently picked out, and will be CLOSED Thursday-Friday, August 22-23, to give the field a break before the weekend.
❗️We will be REOPENING August 24-25 for the last weekend of U-Pick this season.
❗️Raspberries will be available for LATE SEASON PICKING, meaning smaller quantities.
❗️No U-Pick Fee August 24-25!
❗️We have LOTS of jam available at the Berry Shack this weekend. Make sure to get your hands on some 😋

Peak season is upon us! Swipe to see what folks are picking ➡️
All of our varieties (including Eden) are ready for picking, and there’s lots of raspberries if you want to pick larger quantities.
Folks are filling a pail in 30-45 minutes. All of these photos are from the last few days.
We’re open 8-6 daily, with late evenings on Thursday and Friday until 8pm! Hope to see you soon for some Good Pickin’

❗️RASPBERRY UPDATE❗️
The raspberries are doing a lot better than the start of our season. We’ve gotten more rain and moderate weather and the berries are loving it! Folks are having an easier time filling up pails (1-1.5 hours to fill up a 4L pail). All of our varieties are fruiting, including our beloved Mammoth raspberries! Come on out to Horse Hill Berry Farm for some good pickin’ before the end of the summer 🤗👋

Folks were picking lots of raspberries today in Boyne, Mammoth, Red Bounty and Souris.

The early morning and late evening hours have been a hit! We will now be open 8-6 daily, with new evening hours on Thursdays and Fridays open until 8pm 🙌

Early Season Picking! What does this mean? 🤔

It means we have raspberries ready for picking in a few varieties: Boyne, Bounty and Souris. There are lots of raspberries ready to be picked, it may just take a little longer to fill a pail 🪣

❕Make sure to look UNDER and INSIDE the bushes when picking to find the best berries! 👀
❕If you’re hoping to pick larger quantities, wait a week or so and we’ll have lots of raspberries ready for some good, easy pickin’ 😋
❕We are open 8-6 daily, with evening picking until 8 PM on Thursdays and Fridays! 🙌

July 23rd: It’s been a cool morning so far, but it’s gonna be hot and smoky today. Please be advised about the heat and air quality warnings.

We are open 8-6 for early season picking.

We’ve got raspberries in Boyne, Red Bounty and Souris ready for picking small quantities. Yesterday people were able to pick 1-2kg.

July 18th Update: We are still CLOSED, and we will notify all of our wonderful customers once we open! We apologize for any inconvenience if you've come to the farm this week; the raspberries aren't quite ready, but so close! We will be opening sometime next week. 🤗

The Bountiful Basket was inspired by all of the days we’ve spent picking raspberries at Horse Hill Berry Farm. This cart was a celebration of good friends, good times, and good pickin’! We are so grateful for the opportunity to race in the 2024 Red Bull Soapbox Race. It was amazing to see the local community come together with so much creativity and enthusiasm.
We’d like to thank Little Day Miniatures & Accessories for taking our cart to the next level with all the beautiful details.
Thank you to Scott Gabbey, our lead engineer and 5th team member, for giving us the space, tools, and expertise to make this cart happen.
Thank you to Ameris Platt for spearheading this project, and for your love of soapbox races.
