Thank You for your referrals🥰. This little guy has now been with me twice. His mom heard I may be a good fit through other clients of mine.

He's very anxious, with some senior "needs". I've been working with him and already on his second visit, the gitters have stopped. Perfection in a haircut is not priority with the scared ones. It's safety, comfort and trust ❤️

This is so good and a method that I use. Let the dog come to you/read the dog's body language for comfort level. No forced pets or snuggles.

FIRST TIME PUPPY GROOM...

I had 2 first time puppy grooms this week. It's always a wild card. You never know what you're going to get:

♠️Terrified freeze
♦️Terrifired fight
♣️I'm just going to play dead...
❤️ Oh hey I want to chew all the things!

I won't break doggy groomer confidentiality with these two. But boy did they turn out great!

Coton de Tulear. I don't see this breed a lot, which is unfortunate because the ones I've met are such happy little dogs. And yes their fur is JUST LIKE COTTON 😍.

Some of you know I'm a volunteer for Standard Poodles In Need. It's such a joy to groom and love on these dogs. Today was my first time with Boomer. He did so well for being a scared boy. Amazing to see his confidence and comfort with me flourish in just a few hours.
