WE FOUND ANU!!

Well mom did 😉

As soon as she got back to town, she came to our house (where he was lost from) and started calling his name. Almost immediately he started barking saying MOM I'M HERE!!
Where was he?!
BACK IN MY YARD!!
Did he leave and come back? We don't know.
Did he stay hidden somewhere in the yard? While that is a possibility, I have motion sensing cameras and multiple dogs were in the yard and never found him so I find it hard to believe BUT...

I don't care where he was because he's back with mom safe and sound with not a scratch on him.

Words cannot express the gratitude from the Pack and his family the way that this community came together to help him. Each and every one of you that interacted with post, shared his story, went looking for him we wish we could give each of you a hug. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

I've barely eaten or slept in the last 2 days so I'm going to have a beer, go to bed early and probably sleep like I'm in a coma.

Again to everyone, words cannot express the gratitude that we have for all of your support while he was lost. We love our cross border community 🇨🇦🐾🇺🇲♥️

Can you tell us a bit more about her?
Lexi is incredibly affectionate and loves being petted, snuggled, and spending time around people. She’s wonderful with kids—my 2-year-old son plays with her all the time, and she enjoys the interaction. She’s also a fan of going for walks twice a day. Her favorite toys are a squishy ball and a rope, which she loves to play with.

Is she trained?
Yes, Lexi is fully house-trained and doesn’t have accidents inside. The only exception is when it’s heavily raining—she’s not a fan of downpours and will wait until the weather clears up before going outside.

How is she on a leash?
Lexi is great on a leash and listens to commands most of the time. She’s well-behaved during walks and easy to manage.

How active is she?
Lexi’s energy is adaptable to her environment. She can stay active and playful throughout the day, but she’s also perfectly content to rest and relax if the household is calm. She has an easygoing nature and adjusts to whatever is happening around her.

Does she have any separation anxiety?
Lexi doesn’t typically struggle with separation anxiety. The only time she might get a bit anxious is if she’s left alone in the car—she may whine or shake for the first few minutes but calms down quickly and stays quiet after that.

How does she get along with other dogs, big or small?
Lexi has spent time around small and medium-sized dogs and gets along with them very well. While she hasn’t interacted with large dogs, I don’t anticipate any issues, as she’s generally friendly and easygoing with other animals.

Is she good with cats?
I haven’t had Lexi around cats, so I’m unsure of her reaction. However, she has an adaptable nature, so I believe she could adjust well if introduced properly.

Today one of our OG dogs, Maverick, crossed the rainbow bridge after a battle with Cancer.

He arrived to us in 2016 from Arizona and found a wonderful home with one of our volunteers. In 2020 due to life changes, he came back to us and found his forever home with his devoted parents, Stacey and Tim, who loved and spoiled him until the very end.

We want to express our gratitude for being a part of his journey and condolences to everyone who's lives he touched in his life 🩷

It was an honor Mavy, see you on the other side big guy 🌈

Yodi got a brand new RC Pets collar and lots of love from the owner Michelle and staff member Thalia at our favorite pet store in Tsawwassen today 🐾

Yodi has been doing great decompressing and working through his training program. He's already doing exceptionally better with dogs, even going to an off-leash area today. He past a basic distance cat test and absolutely loves humans of all shapes and sizes.

We got a call from one of our partnered vets that this little dude was brought in to be euthanized for dog reactivity. They knew we had the Pack Dog Training on our team, who specialize in dog reactivity and aggression, and asked if we would save his life and of course we said YES!
He is now decompressing with The Pack Dog Training ( ) and his first 24 hours went so well - he even went in a walk with another dog 🐾

He will be getting a full assessment and training package before we look for a foster or forever home. Follow his journey on the Pack social media and we will also be posting updates here.

Jimmy Dean Sausage is settling in with The Pack Dog Training ( ) nicely and loves going to work helping other dogs each day around the lower mainland (honk if you see them out and about!)

He is getting reassessed after some new behaviors popped up once he was recovered from his physical issues. Mainly resource guarding and reacting to fast and big movements. He will do a full two week board and train before moving on to a couple of our more experienced fosters to ensure his quirks are understood and we set him up for success with his future family!

Here is is with Shena being goofy during a training session...how could you not adore this big juicy boy? 💋

U*i is still waiting for her forever home ❤️🐾

U*i came to us as an owner surrender out of Washington after she was used for breeding.
Because of this she is under socialized with dogs and will need some training and time in order to learn how to interact appropriately. Cats unknown.
She's absolutely amazing with humans including small children.
She is perfectly crate trained and housebroken, and has no separation anxiety. She is working on her leash manners with her fosters that is quite active for her breed and loves exploring.

She's up to date on all shots and vaccines plus microchipped but she does have a benign cyst on the back of her neck that can be removed if aesthetics are important.

Background: Lester came to us in 2021 from a rescue in Texas through our partnership with Project Freedom Ride and was adopted by a wonderful family, however his family is no longer able to keep him due to some accidents involving their small dogs and resources.

Lester is a lovable, gentle giant who doesn't quite understand his own size. At 70 pounds, he thinks he's a lap dog and adores being as close to his owner as possible. With a heart full of love, Lester is best suited to homes with larger dogs or as a solo pet, as his playful nature can be a bit overwhelming for smaller pups and cats.

Due to his age, his back legs can get a bit sore after too much exercise. His exercise needs are modest, with two 20-minute walks a day being enough to keep him happy and healthy. Indoors,

Lester is the picture of calm, but he also has a playful side and he's not a fan of fireworks or thunderstorms, which can make him quite anxious. He loves to cuddle and engage in play, often displaying his puppy-like play bites that are always gentle and endearing.Lester is well-behaved on a leash, walking calmly without pulling, though his off-leash behavior is still unknown. He has a stronger bond with larger dogs and may require some patience and understanding when interacting with other pets due to his possessive tendencies.

This sweet, calm, and gentle boy thrives on human companionship and will be your loyal shadow, following you from room to room and curling up nearby whenever you settle down. Lester's quiet presence is a comfort, as he rarely barks and is always content to be near his people
