BRACHIOCEPHALICUS MUSCLE-when tight can cause headaches and shorter strides. This muscle is the major muscle that brings the front limb forward. When brachio is overdeveloped, thoracic trap is most likely going to be underdeveloped or atrophied due to compensation. (Brachio and traps are innervated by the same cranial nerve-accessory nerve) Give that brachio some love! ❤️

Vibration massage technique stimulates body tissues and nerves which will help release tension. This will generate heat to the area and open up those muscle fibers and get the blood and oxygen circulating! ❤️

Core Equine Therapy’s purpose and goal is to provide your horse the best in relieving pain, improving movement and preventing injury.

I do this by positively affecting the bodies nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems. The first assessment is done upon meeting your horse and usually last anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on your horses specific needs. This involves watching your horse move, testing range of motion, muscle testing, joint testing and a neurological test.

This provides me with the information needed to address the specific areas of your horses needs through several massage techniques, advanced stretching, manipulations, cranial sacral, diaphragm work, acupuncture/acupressure and nutrition. I am a firm believer in educating my clients and letting them know what I am doing and why I’m doing it for the peace of mind of you and your horse.

As a Remedial Equine Therapist I attended the Canadian Equine Institute, which is a 4year hands-on program and graduated with honours. With this knowledge I have an expansive understanding of the anatomy and bio mechanics of the horse which allows me to use the skills I’ve mastered to help treat your horse to the best of my abilities.

Horse’s give us so much in this world, and it is our mission to help give back to them.
