At Bramble Field each pup is loved and receives individual care from the start. Each dog is walked on leash daily to keep manners tuned up, has free run time on our acreage and are taken hiking and camping on our excursion days exploring the Bruce trail and Provincial parks. We are situated on 14 acres with 1200 feet of the Saugeen River, surounded with forest and field. Being a home educating f

amily we have woven our dogs training, care, exercise ,grooming and socialization into our daily schedules. There is lots of affection to go around with children of all ages to provide your pup with a positive experience from calm, assertive handlers.

We have over 30 years of canine experience. I I n the show ring of agility, obedience, "Megga Mutt"shows, therapy handling in hospitals, group homes, nursing homes and schools, rescue and rehadilitation of abused dogs. The interaction pups have with humans, at the critical early age, has unending. We place great effort into providing every pup with balanced imprinting and experiences making them very well socialized, confident, calm, teachable & ready to follow you, their alfa leader. Our aim is providing a unique opportunity for families to have a pup who has been handled and treated as part of our family,right from the birth. We provide families the unique opportunity to watch their pup mature through our media pages. This has been especially wonderful for children waiting for their companion.

The Havanese are completely non-shedding, hypoallergenic and sent free, no wet dog smell! They are the only small breed with the character trait for loving children, in fact this is what the where bred for. They are athletically hardy, enjoy swimming, hiking, camping and agility. The low to medium energy level makes this breed manageable to maintain. Many children have been blessed with the companionship this breed offers, aiding in emotional balance, sence of responsibility and confidence building. Due to the Havanese small size and temperment children can do all of the hands on work under your tutoring, providing a great opportunity for both parent and child.

“As we are celebrating our puppy’s first birthday this weekend, we wanted to send you a little update. Winnie (aka Winter) who was part of last year’s Winter Solstice litter is doing so well and bring so much joy to our family. She’s clever and sweet, bursting with personality and love. She’s been very easy and fun to train, adapts to new situations well and loves playing with other dogs and meeting new people - especially children. Thank you so much for all of the good intentional work you do rearing your pups!“

Poppy is adjusting well and we are smitten with her. She took to her open crate and pen on the first day and likes resting and sleeping in the crate. She is learning quickly and aims to please. Thank you for all of your helpful guidance, and pouring so much love & care into these precious pups. It is so evident that the care provided to her and her littermates has translated into a very loving, well-adjusted pup who is eager to learn. We feel very grateful to have welcomed a Bramble pup into our home. Thank you!

Our spellbound litter has given us 8 weeks of magic. We are so pleased with each of their temperaments, confirmation, form and type.
They are incredibly sweet natured, whimsical and brimming with endearing charm.

They had a fantastic vet visit yesterday, winning the hearts of the veterinarians and staff.

One more sleep for their patient families 💖🐾

The safe pen is the toileting area and a secure place for free play. It’s kept clean, washed and can be watched over from the main areas of our home. Additional we have a one acre fully fenced grass yard, acres of field, forest and river to explore. On leash walking is a big part of our belief to maintain a balanced dog. Our beautiful country roads are perfect for peaceful walks. In town travels and exertions are a great change and social activity. We believe going the extra mile to honour not only the the puppies but their parents in quality of life is morally critical. We are the kind of people who don’t sleep at night until our animals mental health is provided for as much as their physical health. It’s helpful pups learn separation in different areas, at different times of day. This area is one of many “experience” venues in our home. Mama and pups have a permanent bedtime/ quiet time puppy suit which is also the whelping pen early on.
