At Bramble Field each pup is loved and receives individual care from the start. Our Dames and Sires enjoy the benefits of family life. Each dog is walked on leash daily to keep manners tuned up, has free run time on our acreage and are taken hiking and camping on our excursion days exploring the Bruce trail and Provincial parks. We are situated on 14 acres with 1200 feet of the Saugeen River, su

rounded with forest and field. Being a home educating family we have woven our dogs training, care, exercise ,grooming and socialization into our daily schedules. There is lots of affection to go around with children of all ages to provide your pup with a positive experience from calm, assertive handlers.

We have over 30 years of canine experience. I I n the show ring of agility, obedience, "Megga Mutt"shows, therapy handling in hospitals, group homes, nursing homes and schools, rescue and rehadilitation of abused dogs. The interaction pups have with humans, at the critical early age, has unending. We place great effort into providing every pup with balanced imprinting and experiences making them very well socialized, confident, calm, teachable & ready to follow you, their alfa leader. Our aim is providing a unique opportunity for families to have a pup who has been handled and treated as part of our family,right from the birth. We provide families the unique opportunity to watch their pup mature through our media pages. This has been especially wonderful for children waiting for their companion.

The Havanese are completely non-shedding, hypoallergenic and sent free, no wet dog smell! They are the only small breed with the character trait for loving children, in fact this is what the where bred for. They are athletically hardy, enjoy swimming, hiking, camping and agility. The low to medium energy level makes this breed manageable to maintain. Many children have been blessed with the companionship this breed offers, aiding in emotional balance, sence of responsibility and confidence building. Due to the Havanese small size and temperment children can do all of the hands on work under your tutoring, providing a great opportunity for both parent and child.

Hello, Anne & Terry & family

Hope you are well! We wanted to touch base & provide a little update on our lil pup, Lizzy Lou Lou (formerly known as Alpine).
It has been such a wonderful, heart filling week for all of us.
Lizzy is incredible. She keeps us smiling, laughing, amazed & so very happy.

In one week she is sleeping through the night, has learned to sit, and is going outside to p**p & p*e about 90% of the time (only a few accidents inside). We have learned her bathroom cues (the zoomies before p**ping)!

Her first night home was great. She only cried for about 15min. She was comforted from a distant by my voice.

She loves the yard. She knows to go p*e (& p**p) for a yummy reward. The dried liver treats are a hit!

Thank you so much for Lizzy & bringing such joy & love back into our home.

Good Morning!
It has been just a little over a week since we brought Sadie home. We are very much in love with her and we want to thank you for everything.
Sadie has transitioned beautifully into our family. She has been amazing in her crate, loves her playpen and her toys. She loves being outside and is currently missing the snow! However, she is proud of the leaves she catches and the sticks she finds- showing them off!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, pictures, recommendations of products, to educational videos, that has helped us tremendously.

Last week I assessed Apres with my highest recommendation as a candidate for professional therapy work.
We are accepting applications for her as our reserved families regrettably needed to pass due to personal reasons.
I cannot say enough great things about this little girl, I’m tempted just to hold on to her I’m so pleased with her temperament, build and type.

Apres is the complete package. Whimsical charm, social butterfly, endearing temperament, confident s***k, in your pocket devotion with an entertaining spirit. She is overflowing with personality just like her papa. To top it off she sports a dark red coat with black highlights, much like her mama. 😎

Our current list of reservations have passed for various individual reasons, filling up our next litter.

Whining, barking, jumping, peeing, climbing. Chewing, pacing….. doesn’t sound like a relaxed greeting for you or your dog does it? If you want to give your puppy skills to be balance these tips will help. ⬇️ ✅change up your routine when you get home or re-unite. Walk past a few times, put your groceries away first one day, get puppy first next time ect… ❌Don’t do everything the same every time you are reunited, being too predictable can add to anxiety, especially when unexpected changes are made. ✅Do wait until puppy is in a calm state of mind before opening the door. ❌Do not open the door if puppy is whining, barking, standing on the panel, laying down showing their belly, running ect… ✅Do wait until puppy is sitting and making eye contact. ❌Don’t say puppy’s name or make eye contact before showing calmness. ✅Do reward with words and physicality touch. ❌Don’t pull your pup out of their calm state of mind by over praising/hyping them up. ✅Do use a controlled calm voice ❌Don’t use hight pitched voice or talk fast ✅Do be patient- your first investment will go a very long way. Wait, wait and wait until puppy finds calm acceptance. In their body and mind. ❌Don’t shift the goal to meet your needs, don’t begin the training when pressed for time or irritated. ✅Do understand you are gifting your puppy a social skill that will raise their emotional intelligence, lower their stress levels and cross over into other experiences. ❌Don’t feel discursged if you have inadvertently trained your puppy excitement is what you want, begin again! Our dogs are very forgiving and live in the moment! Happy tails while training to each of you. 🐾💕✨ (Puppy pictured was 8 weeks old)

If you’ve been hang out here a while you will know how important I feel it is for pups to initiate interaction. Once pups are have physical ability self propelled exploring is key to successful imprinting . Initiation when met with appropriate opportunities builds confidence. We are not asking our puppies to tolerate, we are giving them opportunities to accept differences through play; the actions and nero stimulation are bonded by a positive state of mind. Neurological training begins with ENS, after the primary two week exposure we have just begun. There are many variables that play into successful stimulation, one of the biggest being voluntary interaction, never force. Curiosity is a gift, maximize it with carful, intentional exposure.
