We have 4 Bernese puppies on Vancouver Island looking for love! These pups are of European heritage and will not be super big (60-80lbs). Parents hips/elbows are cleared. VERY nice temperaments on mom and dad. Ready in March, just in time for spring!!

Due to Prism chewing my laptop cord yesterday (because if I leave anything on the bed, for some reason it's fair game - she chews NOTHING around the hosue unless I leave it on the bed!!) Does anyone remember this nifty girl (on the left in pic1) from a couple years ago? To jog your memory, she is the daughter to Addie and Rusty. Her name is Penny! Penny has a very unique and rare colouring. She is what is called an "atypical" merle. This type of merle has changed her coat from the black colour of the puppy on the right in the first photo, to the purple-ish hue of Penny on the left in the first photo. Well, great news: Penny is 7 weeks pregnant with Fonzie's babies! In about 2 weeks, we will have a litter of black tricolours and Penny's colour in tricolour. There is a 25% chance of unfurnished in this litter! They will land as small standards/large moyens, probably 50lbs, give or take. Both parents have some length in their legs, so I expect 23-25" at the shoulder. Now, if you have read this far in, I need some suggestions on what to call this weird colour of Penny's. It is indeed very rare. I have not ever seen a doodle that is atypical merle (it comes from her Australian Shepherd heritage thru her great-grandmother and it is a rare colour expression even in that breed). So, this brings me to naming a colour that has no real name, lol. I am thinking lavender 💜 or charcoal 🩶? She has silvered out as an adult, but the progressive greying gene is a totally separate gene from the merle. So, by looking at pictures from her youth, what do ya'll think? Any other colour suggestions? Her babies have a 50/50 chance of inheriting her nifty colour and I think calling it "atypical merle" is too dull, 😅

Light is not the greatest as we still have to get the lights wired in, but puppies made it to the new nursery today! This is just a temporary pen as the new, permanent play area is being built this week! Also, Frosty is not sad, lol, despite how he looks in all the pics 😅 Maybe this will be his photo superpower. His mother is known for being the world's most unphotogenic dog. Maybe Frosty's thing is looking dejected 🤣🤣🤣

This gorgeous and very GOOD girl, progeny from "The Lalas" (ifykyk), daughter of Lotte and Detour, grand daughter of S'more the Magnificent, great-great-granddaughter of our very first Moonstruck momma, Rosie (Scotia being her great-grandmother), has just passed her hips and elbow certification! All going well, she will be paired with W***y for a blending of two incredible Moonstruck lineages! Pups will be a wide range of colours in the 40lbs give or take range! We are so excited to see this 5th generation of Moonstruck Bernedoodles arrive this spring/summer 😍🤩😍.

Funny story... there was a household debate on what day of the week it was this morning. I was convinced it was Wednesday and the other vote was Monday. Lol... it's Friday. Proof that time is irrelevant living in the snowy middle-of-nowhere during the holidays. No one cares, especially the dogs!
