Extra precautions should be taken during hot weather to keep your animals safe. Even a short time in a hot environment can be life-threatening for your pet. Limit the length of time spent outdoors, never leave an animal unattended in a vehicle, and ensure animals always have sufficient water and a cool, sheltered place out of direct sun.

Some people will never understand the pain of losing a beloved pet, but some do and for those who have been supporting us, a BIG thank you.

Chloe was two years old when she went missing, and we were so looking forward to the putting the puppy years behind and enjoying our future retirement years with her by our side. She was coming into her own and kept our house full of fun and laughter. She was a source of continual joy and unconditional love.

Our experience of grief since losing Chloe, has left us with unbearable sadness, guilt, feelings of depression, and anxiety. We feel that we missed an opportunity to protect or prevent the loss of our pet.

We don’t know if Chloe is alive or not, or with someone who thinks she is better off with them as her owners. This leaves us with no closure.

The loss of Chloe over the past month has come in stages, as we have experienced different feelings such as denial, anger, guilt, depression.

We are still hopeful she will return home someday where she belongs and have accepted that she is likely been picked up by someone and we are seeking a good resolution by having Chloe returned to us.

We are asking the person who may have Chloe to step into our shoes, only to experience how horrible we feel without her as well as how she is feeling without her family. This may help you understand why we desperately want her to return immediately. It's as simple as doing the right thing and dropping her off in safe place such as the human society where she will be scanned or vet without providing your name is a simple way forward.

All we would like is to have our baby Chole home in our arms and to announce she is found.

Certaines personnes ne comprendront jamais la douleur de perdre un animal de compagnie bien-aimé, mais certains le font et pour ceux qui nous ont soutenus, un GRAND merci.

Chloe avait deux ans lorsqu’elle a disparu, et nous étions tellement impatients de mettre le chiot des années derrière et de profiter de nos futures années de retraite avec elle à nos côtés. Elle arrivait dans son propre et a gardé notre maison pleine de plaisir et de rire. Elle était une source de joie continuelle et d’amour inconditionnel.

Notre expérience du deuil depuis la perte de Chloé, nous a laissé avec une tristesse insupportable, culpabilité, sentiments de dépression, et l’anxiété. Nous pensons que nous avons raté une occasion de protéger ou de prévenir la perte de notre animal de compagnie.

Nous ne savons pas si Chloé est vivante ou non, ou avec quelqu’un qui pense qu’elle est mieux avec eux a ses propriétaires. Cela nous laisse sans clôture.

La perte de Chloé au cours du dernier mois est venue par étapes, car nous avons éprouvé différents sentiments tels que le déni, la colère, la culpabilité, la dépression.

Nous espérons toujours qu’elle retournera à la maison un jour où elle appartient et avons accepté qu’elle est probablement ramassée par quelqu’un et nous cherchons une bonne résolution en ayant Chloe retourné à nous.

Nous demandons à la personne qui pourrait avoir Chloé de se mettre à notre place, seulement pour découvrir à quel point nous nous sentons horribles sans notre elle ainsi que comment elle se sent sans sa famille. Cela peut vous aider à comprendre pourquoi nous voulons désespérément qu’elle revienne immédiatement. C’est aussi simple que de faire la bonne chose et de la déposer dans un endroit sûr comme la société humaine où elle sera scannée ou vétérinaire sans fournir votre nom est une façon simple d’aller de l’avant.

Tout ce que nous aimerions, c’est d’avoir notre bébé Chole à la maison dans nos bras et d’annoncer qu’elle est trouvée.

Facebook has your posts dead in the water unless someone likes it or comments on it . It technology and no one will see your post unless someone posts on it .

The only other way to get more traffic on your post is to pay for it and only businesses and charities' have that option. Ive paid for more traffic many times to help my pigs but its a waste of money when folks only view it and not like it or comment on it.

When your surfing and come upon a rescuers post the single most important thing one can do is to like or love that post, PLEASE comment on it and share all of which costs nothing but a few seconds and helps the post get reached more for the rescue and gets the animals seen more.

I try and visit folks who show support on my pages and comment even if the dog needing a home is in Texas it will help that dog get seen more. Use a GIF if you dont know what to say it all helps so much!!

Last week, our By-law Enforcement unit received a report of 6 abandoned kittens in a parking lot of an apartment complex. Upon arrival, the officers found the mother nearby, who appeared to be sick and neglected for some time. The mother and her kittens were safely transported by officers to the municipal animal shelter for care and follow up.

If you see a stray, sick, or injured cat or dog, please contact 3-1-1 immediately. Your call can make a big difference in an animal's life.
