🚨 URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED 🚨

Due to no fault of his own, Thunder has come back into care and is looking for an urgent foster home.

Who is he you may ask…

Meet Thunder!

This sweet, 11 month old husky cross is looking for his forever home or foster home. He is 59 lbs, practically full grown. Vaccinated, microchipped, dewormered and neutered! His medical status is up to date!

He is good with dogs, and loves to play. He has been cat tested, with a cat that is dog savvy, but will need supervision as he wants to play and most cats don’t. He gets very excited for feline friends.

He is absolutely part of the dork-master 3000 model, and is so goofy, he’ll make you laugh constantly.

He does have some traditional husky quirks, but is doing great on redirecting and conditioning with them. He LOVES being outside and exploring. He has typical high energy for his breed so being dog savvy is a must.

Want to talk about food, food is life! He loves a tasty snack during training sessions, or chewing a bully stick in his bed.

He has the energy style of a toddler, that passes out after a good play and run session. With the little bit of husky vocal sass to go along with the toddler lifestyle.

He is crate trained, and currently working on loose leash walking and basic commands. He exuberantly sits when asked.

He will require a forever home who has a wood 6 ft fence, as he likes to climb chain link. We think he has some mountain climber dna 😅

867 DAYS: 2 Years, 4 Months, 17 Days and Counting 😔

It’s been 867 days since Brodie has come into care, and he has been waiting patiently for his adoptive home.

This fun, quirky, sweet 3 year old low rider shar pei x has the heart of a thousand warriors, and loves his people. He also loves snacks, but who doesn’t 😋

He does have puppy energy, and enjoys being outside exploring and playing. He is an exceptional dog, with the world to give to his people and just needs someone to take a chance on him.

He’s been socializing more with dogs of all sexes and ages, and is becoming more confident with them.

He’s looking for a home without small children, as he loves them SOOO much, he wants to constantly kiss them, snuggle them, and snack on their snacks being at the perfect height to do so.

Brodie has a training credit for his adoption, so he is able to get some additional training, without a major financial cost to his adoptive family.

Special Vaccine Clinic!

🗓️ Join us at our Beltline location on September 10th or Airdrie on September 12th.

This event is designed to help pet owners that haven’t been able to afford wellness care during these difficult economic times and want to get their pets caught up on vaccines.

We are running this as first come, first served; and trusting in humanity that only those in need come join us. We will not be verifying low income status, just bring your pup or cat, line up and we will do the rest.

⏰ Operating Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

🐾 Daily Capacity: 100 pets (first-come, first-served)

🐕‍🦺 Pets per Handler: Max of 2

🏠 Pets per Household: Max of 4

⭐️ Note: pets must be healthy and eligible for vaccines; unfortunately no medical work-ups can be done for sick pets, allowing us to help as many animals as possible.

Bonzai is still looking for his forever home, and we have no idea why! He is such a joyful and loving little man, who truly is a cuddle bug.

His foster home has this to say about him:

“Bonzai is the sweetest puppy ever, he loves to cuddle and he gives big hugs! He’s super easy going considering his favourite toy ever is an empty water bottle (bonus points if you wrap it up in a blanket). He is really good with my two cats, and stays very calm whenever the neighbours walk by with their pups. He is also an amazing sleeper, he lets me sleep about 7 hours each night! I love this lil guy so much, he deserves the entire world and I hope he is able to find his forever home soon!”

Orbiter is still looking for his forever home, and wondering why he hasn’t found it yet.

This boy is now 12 weeks old on Saturday, and already 99% potty trained, has great recall and loves to relax and chill beside the kiddy pool with you, or on the couch snacking on apples. A one for me two for you scenario.

He loves his foster dog siblings and cat, who he doesn’t chase but licks clean 🧼 He sleeps 7 hours through the night without waking up, and is such a good boy!

They are very well socialized, and cuddly as can be. They’re engaging, playful, and also love their naps. They’re great with children, dogs of all sizes and cats.

Their brother Fireball has found his forever home, and we’re hoping these babies too, so they’re not left in the Stampede Dust!
