The ground is already drying up quick. It's good we got all that rain! Think we came pretty close to meeting a bear today. Always interesting when the dogs stop and stare expectantly... The d**e was good, so far less gnats!

Well I got my puddles....we needed that amount of rain and it was polite of it not to flood us. The wind was a bit much but I have to say we dried off much faster with it! We had it all today, November rain early this morning, regular rain, cloud, sun, more wind and rain, even some thunder and a bit of hail.

When we got back and went for a walk around the block...couldn't really tell what the day was like...
Luckily we missed the thunderstorm and made it back to the car dry. Going from the car to the house was another story for some dogs. The first walk was still quite wet.

It was a bit wet today. I was asked if I was sure I wanted to really go for a walk on the first. Second walk was in a different area and forest and the dogs still got way too excited about something and one refused to go further at one point so we hopped in the car and went down the road a bit. Third walk was still wet. No one minded if we didn't take the scenic route back to the car. 🤣

Well I'm always glad for company, more so today... On the second we had a cougar chirp in the tree line but was moving away. The dogs were all very very interested but not all that concerned. On the way back, we met and followed a young bear back to the car for a while! There was another bear I saw on the next d**e and I think one I didn't see as well. Nothing all that exciting on the first walk with all the big dogs!

I'm impressed with the amount of rain we are getting! It's definitely needed. Poor Jethro would like to make sure everyone is aware grown wasps are out and semi active even in the rain.
It's funny watching an older puppy be annoyed by a younger puppy....he doesn't even know how good he has it!
The frogs were happy today! So we're the dogs, other than the wasp incident.
