Maze working on her leash skills! Shes around 5m old, I recommend to start training your puppies the day you bring them home. This doesn't need to be commands like down and heel to start. Getting them responding to their name, teaching marker words, crate and potty manners are an amazing start. I also start getting my puppies out for exposure right away.

Beautiful messages I woke up to this morning from Izzy B Pet Services. She's been attacking multiple businesses and rescues because we don't align with how she personally trains.

I personally find it funny that the same people who preach FF/positive only can't even use that towards their fellow humans. Anyways im just posting this to show others the type of human she, and giving her the attention so desperately craves. She "trains" dogs in the London, Ontario area BEWAREEEE

Beatrice & Hannah went home today. They've learned and grown a lot since being here. A bit of back story - Their family had to move, they were put into a boarding kennel around 5m of age until the family could get into a new place. When they were brought to the boarding kennel, Beatrice needed to be carried in because she would just pancake.

They're both siblings, who never really had anytime separated until they came to me. In the beginning I made sure they had separate walks, play sessions, training sessions. It was around a year old when they came to me from the boarding kennel. The boarding kennel actually reached out to me because they could see the dogs weren't handling the environment well, and thought training would truly benefit them.

When they first arrived they were super anxious, scared and didn't know a single command. They were not potty trained, or crate trained. & would go potty wherever they liked. They've not had an accident since the first couple weeks out of their 6 week program with me. They're now crate trained, know sit, down and place with an implied stay. They know their recall and now walk politely on leash! You can even see at the end of the video their whole body language has changed! Excited for updates.

About Confident K9Z!

Confident K9Z was created in 2018 and serves the London and surrounding areas. I offer dog walking, training, dog park trips and drop in visits for pets of all kinds. I am insured and bonded with PROfur. During each service you will be updated with picture/video and text updates. If you’re taking any of the training services you will receive training sheets as well as how to videos to help you along the way. I offer a balanced method of training which means I teach the dog “YES” and “NO” by using rewards for behaviors we want, as well as corrections/punishment for behaviors we don’t want. Some of the tools I use during training are treats, toys, slip lead, prong collar, e collar, muzzle, long line and more. All animals teach using both rewards/corrections and understand this method which is why I choose to teach this way. I want to create confident dogs and owners by teaching them how to build a stronger relationship through structure and love. If you’re looking for dog walking/pet care or if you feel my training methods are the best choice for you please feel free to send me a message about any services .
