Happy birthday to Willow!!!!

Willow was just a baby (best guess) and looked almost like a wild hate with giant ears when she was first found outside off Pagé rd in Orleans (Ottawa) back in June 2021 in the blistering heat! A few bald patched but still full of love (and zoomies all over my face when I tried to sleep on the floor next to her on a giant dog bed pictured above) she won my heart ❤️

You all probably know Willow best from her teeth marks or from the missing pieces in all of your past orders!

They’re back!
And thank gosh for that 🤭

If you don’t have a feeder (or a hay bag), or a feeder/litter combination set up…then you need one now.

Anyone else tired of wasting all that hay? Or maybe the litter box slides around.. maybe some digging happening? These things are a life saver!
And they definitely look a lot more aesthetically pleasing, specially in a main room of a house in view of family and other visitors.

Even with a great setup, no matter the contraption you’re using, it can also happen that the feeder you had just isn’t cutting it anymore!

Lucky for you 4 of these are currently being built, and I am constantly working on a way to have them ship in more than one piece when possible to keep the box size down - and of course always keeping the weight in mind 🧐

Posted • ‼️ I’m just posting this quick before I head to work but we have been inundated with owner surrender requests recently and more last chance buns are being posted with euthanasia dates. I have a few others that need help that I’ll share later but I wanted to get this guy up since he literally has two days to find placement before he’s euthanized at a shelter (NOT by us). A lot of the other rescues that can help with these last chance buns have taken in a lot of them recently and are totally full. We want to help this little bun but we need a foster.

The following are just our requirements to foster, if anyone is interested in adopting the adoption application can be found on our website.

FOSTER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must reside in the Niagara region or surrounding area (within 1.5 hours)
• Must have a valid drivers license and be able to get to one of our vets (St. Catharines, Toronto or Guelph)
• We provide housing (xpen), litter boxes, dishes, accessories etc. We can provide hay to get you started but generally fosters provide hay, pellets and rabbit safe litter.

Bella was so excited to show everyone what was in the advent calendar, even though we haven’t started it yet. Here she is showing you her palm pocket. She has already chewed through it fairly quickly, and is ready to dive in all the way to the bottom nose and everything!
Although she seem to be having so much fun, she gave me this look. When I decided we should take a picture. … but you get the idea 😆

😥 slight delay with the orders I was working on this weekend.

Teddy managed to get over the clear squares and pen, and somehow stayed up on the edge long enough to also go through the lattice!!! 3 sets of gates.
I move the clear squares out of the way when I’m awake or when I’m working in the evening and I’m not far away and I did that because not having them there means that Teddy can see me and the other bunnies and everyone walking around as opposed to feeling secluded and having his vision blocked by the squares, I didn’t want him to feel isolated so instead I put a piece of lattice.

Nicole, Abby, and a few others.. your orders were eaten.. only the half eaten balsa bars you see on the ground survived.

Yes there was some blood - Teddy got into the next room and him and Greg fought.
Thank god, truly, that it wasn’t worse. Greg broke a nail and continued to run on it and that’s the blood you see. Teddy has a broken toe..
As if I hadn’t had enough going on in the last week 🥵

I am so happy I found a way to extend to length of time my buns will be spending with their daily treat!
If you love treats and surprises like I do, then you might remember as a child waking up every morning just to open that little cardboard door and eat the chocolate 🍫
And the n 3…2..1 that’s it. Excitement over. 😕

Imagine having more to unwrap, more doors to open, and hidden treats that kept you feeling happy for MUCH longer!!!
