200 BOXES OF CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE
WHAT: fun-filled container challenges suitable for all levels
WHEN: Sunday, December 10
50 Container Level 1 challenge for Untitled/Started titled teams
50 Container Level 2 challenge for Advanced titled teams
100+ container challenge for Excellent/Elite, CH or MACH teams
WHERE: RCMP Barn, Saanich Fairgrounds, Saanichton, BC
ENTRY FEE: $50 per dog
Entries open November 20th at 7:00 pm

RULES:
Handler/Dog teams may only enter the search appropriate for their level, however, a dog may level up i.e. an Advanced dog may be entered in the 100 container search. Dogs who hold an Excellent/Elite title or a CH or a MACH must enter the 100 Container Search.
A handler may enter ONE dog in each search - second dogs will not be permitted for this event.
All containers will be numbered; handler must call out container #
50 CONTAINERS 1
4 minute time limit
There will be clear, no distractors, and 3 hides
50 CONTAINERS 2
4 minute time limit
There will be clear, Advanced level distractors, and 2-7 hides
100+ CONTAINERS
7 minute time limit
There will be clear, Elite level distractors, and 2-10 hides
PERSNICKETY RULES AND POINTS SYSTEM:
Placements are based on points and, in the event of a tie, time
THE GOOD
+10 POINTS for every correct find
+20 points for correct finish
THE BAD
-5 POINTS for first incorrect find
-5 POINTS for damaged container
-5 POINTS for dropped treats
-10 POINTS for second incorrect find
THE UGLY:
NQ for third incorrect find
NQ for absolute destruction of container
NQ for eliminating in search area
