We attended Kali's Wish Cancer Foundation 2024 Butterfly Release Celebration of Life this morning. We released butterflies in honour of Diesel, Raina, and Sissy.

Tears were shed, but we know they are happy, whole, and together over the Rainbow Bridge. When our time comes, they will all be there to greet us happily.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the following : Sunday evening, our home was engulfed in flame. We lost everything. Most importantly, we lost our beloved Raina. Things can be replaced, but she can not.

We know that she is over the Bridge with her friends and brothers, where every day is celebrated with Cheddar Dogs birthday cake.

If you would like to help, please make donations - time, supplies, or monetary - in Raina's name to ARTS Senior Animal Rescue. The rescue is also in need of foster homes and volunteers. Please consider making a difference.

Drool will be on hiatus until we can figure out how to replace equipment and continue forward.

Can you open your home to a senior cat in need? We are in desperate need.

We have had one of the saddest rushes of emergencies that we’ve ever experienced. This week, we’ve been reached out to by an uncharacteristically large amount of families who have had a person pass away in their family leaving behind their beloved feline friend. These situations are devastating to both a grieving family, and the grieving companion. These situations are also a top priority for us because in addition to the sad fact that these cats have lost their one and only person, it often means that they are alone in an empty home with family coming in to feed them. Imagine the confusion and heart break these cats face - losing everything with no safe place to land.

We need help to bring these beautiful souls in to care and get them a fresh start. We have many families wanting to foster small dogs, but it is very rare that an application for a senior cat foster rolls in. We need kind and patient cat fosters that understand that sometimes they come very shut down, or with issues that may need time to work through.

Wow! We checked out - across the parking lot from - today after pool. I'll post video of that later.

This is an awesome store. I picked up ground to Tripe, Tripe stuffed Esophagus (supper!), a beef chew, and some free goodies. They were super nice to me and had pawsomethings to say about . Big score for them. ~ Raina

On this day, March 4th, 2010, at 2:30 PM, I took the keys to 380 Canyon Meadows Drive, and the journey of Soffritto began! It's been a rollercoaster ride, filled with challenges, triumphs, laughter, and even a few tears. But every moment has been an integral part of our story, shaping us into who we are today.

Over the years, we've been privileged to witness families grow, to celebrate as our employees graduate from university, and to see our little Soffritto evolve into what we hope is a cornerstone of our community. We've served countless meals, shared numerous stories, and created a myriad of memories.

As we start our 14th year, we're aware of the turbulent economy that surrounds us. But we're also filled with hope and anticipation. We're looking forward to serving you soon, to welcoming you back into our warm and friendly environment, to sharing our passion for food and community with you.

Our friends are in desperate need of clean, gently used (or new, they won't turn that down!) winter wear for homeless pets during this cold snap. My pawesome sister, Rua, and her amazing friends are collecting all kinds of goodies - coats, sweaters, blankets, booties, etc - to help out. All sizes but especially L or XL are appreciated. Diesel on his VERY first day of daycare. Boxing day 2010 . He was just a baby, but he loved it! Made lots of friends there, especially his good buddy, Boo.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Diesel. He passed quietly in his sleep among loved ones on Christmas Eve. We are devastated by his loss.

His happy, joyful face with the world's longest tongue will no longer greet us. The world is just that much darker. We will miss you forever, sweet boy.

Half my face is swollen up. My eye is almost completely shut. 6 hours who were slammed with emergencies and one critical (😪) last night.
My eye is okay but they think I have a tooth infection causing the swelling. I really want my Memere and Pepere but I can't have them. I'll take toys, treats, or donations to instead.
