The Catio is officially open!
The cats are venturing out to get the best sniffs, the primo sunshine spots, and front row seats to bird watching.
We had a special donor that wanted to create a wonderful outdoor space that is safe for our kitties at the Sanctuary. They donated the funds specifically for this project and we worked with our community to make it happen.
A very big thank you for the generous monetary donation (they wish to remain anonymous), and a thank you to everyone that helped to turn this idea into a reality - it was a lot of donated time and energy.

Timmy is at pet valu laurelwood this week looking to meet his forever family.
Here's what his foster family had to say about Timmy;
“Timmy is just about the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet! Though he can be a bit shy at first, he will warm up quickly and purr like a motorboat when you scratch his chin or rub his belly. He loves churu treats and does best with other cats. He’d love a new home with a kitty best friend to help him feel comfortable and confident, and play with him all day long!”
Faith and Flora are enjoying their presents from the Pet Valu Elmira giving tree.
These sisters are still looking for their forever home together.
Faith and Flora are about a year and a half old and still filled with youthful energy. They love to do everything together; bird watching, catching toy mice, and getting their zoomies out! They are very affectionate, loving a good tummy rub once they feel comfortable. They get along well with everyone, including other kitties.
If you're looking to add some adorable loving kitties to your family, consider Flora & Faith. You can contact our adoption team at [email protected] or 519-669-1979
Crosby is missing
Many of you may have seen the news stories of the last few days on CTV, or read about Crosby in the Record, or on City News, or even through our page.
Security footage of the incident was released and we're asking for information regarding the man pictured who was seen placing Crosby into his jacket.
If you have any information please contact the WRPS non-emergency line 519-570-9777 or Pet Patrol at [email protected]. If you know this person, please do not approach them, contact the police.
We all want Crosby returned safely so that we can make sure he receives the care he requires. Crosby has a distinctive inverted V pattern on his face and his picture will be in the comments below, and in our previous social media posts.
Thank you again for your compassion and assistance.
VRrrrrooooom.

Meet Abby. This poor girl was abandoned in a carrier on a church door step, we can only imagine how scared and confused she was to be left alone like this. One of the people that works at the church noticed and brought Abby inside, and called someone at Pet Patrol.
It was scary for Abby, being in a new place and she spent a lot of time hiding at first. Her world was turned upside down. But her foster family gave her time, space, and patience to let her adjust. In her own time Abby decided that she was brave and she was ready...
She is a playful girl that enjoys catnip, wand toys, and those pesky hair ties! She enjoys laying in the sunshine and watching the squirrels and birds knowing that she is safely indoors. She is continuing to grow each day and looks forward to finding her forever home with people that are gentle, kind, and show her the patience and affection she deserves.

Bill has an update!
--------------------
Snuggling up with my foster makes me realize how lucky I am to have been rescued. I have a soft bed, a clean house, people who cuddle me and make sure I’m never hungry. I surely would not have done well living outside, alone and uncared for, and winter would have done me in.
So many people were involved in my rescue, daily care and vet care and surgery that I just can’t imagine. How does one little kitty thank so many people? I am so grateful. I’ve had my surgery now and feel so much better. My eye socket was really annoying and I don’t miss the yucky feeling I had whenever the wind hit it. Ewww.
My recovery is going well, no problems. I look forward to my fur growing in and gaining some weight to show how handsome I am. Next on the list … a forever home :D
-----------
Thank you to everyone that helped us to give Bill his second chance!
Thank you Sebastian!
A young gentleman asked for donations for Pet Patrol for his birthday, and his friends and family really came through! Thank you so much for thinking of us on your special day, Sebastian.

Mitzi
Mitzi is ready to bring in the long weekend with a kitty party and some zoomies!
Her foster home describes Mitzi as a "be as physically close to you as possible and maintain contact" kind of cat. She loves to snuggle and join you on the couch for a good kitty nap. She wants to be involved in everything that goes on in the house, rubbing against your leg and checking out what you're doing.
As you can see she's quite active and playful. After having kittens she's ready to live care-free and be a young kitty herself. We're looking for a forever home for this girl where she can get plenty of attention and live the sweet life of an indoor cat.
Want to meet Mitzi? Call our team at 519-669-1979 or [email protected] to schedule an appointment.
We did it! You shared Princes story with more than 9,000 people, that's an amazing number of shares and comments that spread the word about Prince and his search for his forever family.
Prince got quite a few inquiries, and we narrowed those down to a handful of appointments. He decided to be picky, but when the right people arrived at the Sanctuary to meet him, he let us know that he had found his forever family.
Prince got his Christmas wish and he now has a forever home where he will be loved and pampered with another kitty friend.
Thank you all so much for helping us to find this deserving gentleman the home of his dreams. 💜
Abrahm and Aurora are ready to make the leap to their forever home.
These two are very affectionate and sweet - can you hear those purrs and see how much they love the affection of their foster family?? They're very attached and bonded and want to find a family for their own so that they can grow their bond.
They're only 8 months old, so they have lots of pep in their step - chasing wand toys, a race of kitty 500 - and when they're tired, they love to cuddle with one another and a human friend too. Aurora relies on the confidence and companionship of her brother which is why they come as a pair. He takes care of her, and she never leaves his side.
If your home has extra love to give, these two would love a chance to win you over! Contact our adoption team at [email protected] or 519-669-1979 to schedule a time to meet Aurora & Abrahm
