For anyone who may be trying to evacuate Ukraine with their animals today here are some resources that may be able to offer some help during this devastating time. If you are trying to evacuate with small animals and don’t have a carrier, a tote, laundry basket, large purse etc will do. The biggest essential to try and bring with you is hay and water but in an emergency getting yourselves to a place of safety is the most important right now. Please know my heart is with the people of Ukraine and I am thinking of you all. Stay safe, stay well. 💖🐰

vet.crew on Instagram - Said they are in Odessa, Ukraine. Their city has been bombed since 4 am. Many people abandon their animals and leave. They will stay and help everyone's animals left behind.

If you are fleeing or know someone who has, help has been offered for your pets. The animal protection association Casa lui Patrocle supports and offers help for families with pets who enter Romania from the Ukraine via the Sireten. 🇩🇪 Entering Germany -
To Ukrainian citizens who want to leave Ukraine with pet(s) and enter Germany due to the current situation: Please contact at Munich Airport for organisation. The team there does everything possible to get the people and their animals out of there.
Animal Shelter Munich will provide quick help and temporary accomodation for animals.

Polish officials are now facilitating Ukrainian border crossing for families fleeing with their animals. The whole animal health dossier is now NOT mandatory. Animals will be vaccinated AFTER CROSSING Polish side of the border.

🇸🇰 (From the comments) Slovakia is also accepting refugees with their pets and relaxed necessities. The pets will need to go into a quarantine for 5 days, but the authorities are ready to help out, upon entry you need to fill out a document, that's it. Everything else will be taken care of
