Fully trained Service Dogs can still make mistakes ! Service dogs are still dogs and can make mistakes or get rusty on certain parts of their training. It’s important for both the handlers and on lookers to give service dogs room for error.

Tick season is beginning !

Ticks live in trees, shrubs, long grass and piles of leaves. They can hibernate all winter and come out at temperatures above 0°C. Not all ticks carry disease but the ones that do can carry Lyme, anaplasmosis, and more.

How do I identify a tick?
-ticks have a body that will expend as it eats with a small head and 6 legs. If you’re unsure if you found a tick you can use image search sites like etick.

If a tick is found it is recommended to remove them as prolonged exposure is dangerous. To safely remove a tick use a tick puller or a pair of tweezers. Get as close to the skin as possible and slowly pull up (no twisting). Once remove clean the area and ensure that the head is not left behind. If you believe the head is stuck please call a health care professional.

If you are worried you’ve been bitten by a tick and feel ill please see a healthcare professional or your vet if it’s for your pet.

Looking for a forever home ❤️

This lovely girl will need a very special family as she was neglected as a puppy.

She is a 1.5 year old female Great Dane and walks well on a leash, off leash, and is crate trained.

She is still learning how to interact with other dogs and will need an experienced handler and lots of socialization.

Jessica is very literally the best and most Professional Service Dog trainer there is, in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.

She truly cares about her clients, both canine and human.

For Jessica, it's not about the money but the love of helping people and their dogs.

Proof of that is, she volunteers her time and expertise within the Service Dog Community, and pet dog community at large.

More than "just" a Professional, Certified and Reputable Service Dog trainer, Jessica is also a Professional and Certified Behavioral Dog Trainer.

I discovered Jessica in 2016, when I found out that my existing dog could be trained as a Service Dog in Ontario after my accident.

Jessica helped me rehabilitate and socialize my Puppy Mill Rescue, with so many issues. She did such a great job of rehabilitating my pet dog that he became my Service Dog.

When he passed away, Jessica helped with assessing a new puppy prospect by communicating with my breeder. Watching the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test videos. Watching videos of the parents and siblings.

Once Jessica, the breeder, and I narrowed down our choice to the best suited candidate for an Assistance Dog, I went down to the USA to get my puppy.

Jessica trained him from 10 weeks old to be my Mobility and Stability, Counterbalance and Bracing, Guiding and Alerting Service Dog.

He is so well trained, thanks to Jessica, that I have traveled the world with him, while I'm alone in my wheelchair. He has been on 36 flights and has visited 12 countries.

I can not recommend Jessica enough to anyone considering her to train their pet or Service dog. Problem Dogs, Rescues, Puppies, Assistance Dogs - Jessica can train them all!
