Hey to all our friends in FB land. Is there any chance you know anyone that wants a couple of very sweet dogs? A pair of dogs have been surrendered. They are super friendly, lived with kids and a cat. Never spent much time outside. Apparently just messed in the house. Male is approx 3
Female is maybe 1ish and has had pups which were all given away.
Male has really bad long nails which is causing him to walk on his heels not pads of feet. They are super sweet, friendly and submissive. Maybe not treated well. Neither are fixed. I truly believe they would be super awesome pets with the right home. They are medium sized.
Female is smaller.

As usual, we will need to confirm the home is suitable. These two have had a rough start... let's make the rest of their lives better ♡

Male(Scar) is border collie/husky 2 yrs Female(Sky) is lab/border collie either coming 1 or 2
Both walk on a leash with a bit of pulling. Sky has great recall but can be a bit bossy. According to owner Scar is double jointed and that’s why his front paws look funny. They are being moved to a fosterhome until a home is found for them.

Extra hikes notice!!
We will have room this Saturday for a few dogs that need/want an extra day outing. We are also doing our Monday hike next Monday on the holiday. Please message if you would like in on either of these days!

Good morning from our weekend K9 Kamp! It's a perfect day for a hike and some obstacles before we hit the lake!

Thursdays crew was very rambunctious so we headed for the obstacle loop and made two rounds haha - so fun to watch the young ones learning where their feet are!

Hot pavement reminder! When the surface is at 125°F (50⁰ C) burnt paws can happen in 60 seconds. Other than loading and unloading we don't really spend any time on pavement but we do like to be aware so we have purchased an infrared temp gun. Yesterday we did find that the darker pavement hit 50⁰c.
*a good rule of thumb is to hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If you can't do that, it's too hot for paws!*

Had a gorgeous young pitty come running up and jump in the van while I was loading another dog haha. Had to go for a walk and find her home - Running a few minutes behind for pickups today!

Thursdays adventure was so fun! Lots of different terrain and we found a beautiful huckleberry patch to sample. We even missed the thunderstorm haha

Thursdays fun had Carla in the water with the dogs. They swam and or walked on shore for a lap of the lake and then we worked on getting some swimming. Jasmine did a great job overcoming her fear of water and paddling for a short swim
Kaiya is so close to going in but doesn't like others around her whe she's in the water. We will get her swimming yet, it's a mission!

We are dealing with the heat ok so far this week - a short hike in the morning before it's too hot and then down to the water for a splashing good time! ❤️

Pepper is not a fan of being vaulted. Thor is a big boy and when being chased by the even bigger Zoe the Daniff it's like thunder - so fun!
