Meet Chippy.

This sweet boy showed up at a farm. He was very emaciated. coughing. scared. A vet had a look at him this week and could not find a microchip. Based on his teeth he is young. A bit over a year old. Tested negative for felv and fiv. He will lose both his ears and half his tail. He is currently on meds for frost bite on his feet. He doesn't seem to be afraid of other cats or dogs. He will get neutered in about a month when he is healthier. Right now he is getting to know his new foster dad. We aren't actively taking in new rescues but since this kitty chose to run into his foster dad's garage after all this horrible weather.... what you going to do? He can be so affectionate when he trusts you. Lots of head bunts. His meals must be measured out as he over eats due to starvation.

Maybe someone out there is looking for a new baby to love? Try fostering? Scared by noises so not ready for any young kids for the time being. Was great at vet clinic when no one moved quickly or loudly ( the clinic was so awesome to make him feeling safe, even avoiding using clippers around him ). He is a solid grey color like a russian blue type cat. Will be close to 12 lbs when he gains his weight back. Message us if you would like to know more about this sweety.

Word is that Thelma has a new forever home.

It was in March 2018 that Thelma and Louise were given to us because their mom was fighting cancer and the meds made her sick when around the cats. Lousie was adopted eventually to a great home in Regina. its taken 6 years but by the looks of it Thelma will spend her senior years very happy. Hopefully her first mom will see this post and know both her babies are doing great.
