A very serious Halloween message from Whiskey and myself.
And this is how we walk. They are a bunch of incredible dogs who have learned to walk as a pack. Strong bonds are formed between myself and the dogs as well as the dogs with each other. We truly operate as one unit. I absolutely love my time with all the dogs I walk 💕
How many puppies do you see? That’s right.. a bakers dozen who all walk beautifully with me.
Perfect morning for our Thursday walk
Whiskey learning to wear her swim, paddle and boating goggles!
Silence is golden! Volume on for this. We create excitement in our dogs by using high pitched sounds and words and then expect the dogs to behave or walk nice. We stopped had a little look at the horse who had come out to see the gang.. then carried on. No treats, no baby talk and we calmly and enjoyably continued our walk. This is consistency.
Maintaining pace as a pack takes lot’s of practice.
Waiting patiently to get loaded into the car.
Sitting and waiting patiently for their treats. This is tough for Nala, Galleta and Whiskey who love to steal it from each other and out of my hand. This was their best waiting ever!
Everyone waiting patiently for their treats. This is especially hard for Nala, Galleta and Whiskey as they are treat piggies. This was their best listening and exercise in patience yet!

When we walk we go at a good speed. These walks are to exercise as a pack and demonstrate good social skills with each other. I expect them to be respectful of each dogs space and to get along. This takes time to achieve and one way that I do this is to stay at a consistent good clip once we get going. We are on a mission when we walk and the dogs know it!
Happy Valentine’s Day, love my pet nanny and her crew! Get ready for lots of valentines love today from all of the dogs.
A tool I was taught by Mia ( Mission Accomplished Training ) and something we practice every time we go do some off leash time when exiting or entering the car or when someone walks by us.
*Note: Anchor the Doberman was trained by Mia not be. My goal is to continue to reinforce some of his training when on my walks each day.
Everyone sitting nice… even puppy Cowboy was very attentive and patient!
Patiently they wait for me to release them so they can have some play time!
