Someone took a cute pill today…
Hey everybody!
As we’re sure everybody is aware, the province of BC has shut down most businesses that aren’t essential due to the COVID 19 threat, but fortunately that does not include farriers. Thusly, we can still take care of our clients and their horses needs during this time.
We are doing our best to maintain safe practices in order to do our part in preventing the spread of COVID 19, and will need to enforce some new protocols. We will not be able to do this alone however, and ask for our clients aid as well.
Here’s the scoop:
1. We are encouraging all of our clients to try to pay through etransfer. No physical money, no touchy, no virus.
2. Unless absolutely necessary, we also ask that our clients not be there while we work. We recognize that in some cases this is not possible, so we ask that you allow us to handle the horses ourselves and do your best to stay a safe distance. Practice social distancing 😎
3. If at all possible, prior to our appointment, please have the horses in a paddock where we can easily catch them. We will be using our own halter so as to prevent touching any of our clients tack.
4. We will be wearing gloves and washing hands as often as necessary. Our tools and truck will be sprayed down with plenty of disinfectant.
5. In regards to billing, there will be no physical copies given to our clients. Instead we will send bills and receipts digitally.
6. It is the responsibility of our clients to inform us of any international travel and possible COVID 19 exposure. If so, PLEASE stay indoors and self quarantine, and where necessary, please reschedule. We will be staying as flexible as possible to accommodate.
Thanks to all for understanding, let’s kick COVID 19’s butt and handle this like pros 😎
Cheers 🍻
Bar shoe practice day!!
Always feels good to get shop time in, even after big work days. One of our favourite things to do is hit the shop early morning with coffee and make some handmades. It sure is satisfying throwing a pair on some feet...😎
We all survived the holidays and now it’s back to work! It’s important to keep your tools in tip-top shape so that you’re prepared for the days work. Here we are tuning up tools, branding, sharpening knives and going over the weeks clientele so we can stock the type of steel we’ll need. Shop days are the best!
Enroute to the mainland this week⚒
Our newest crew member is in the pile! The countdown for pickup begins. Couldn’t be more excited to have our new family/crew member join us⚒
