The chemical additives, preservatives and scrap meat that is present in commercial dog treats has always been of major concern to me. The health issues these harmful ingredients present in our pets are well docum

ented in the science community. It is difficult to comprehend why there are no health and safety standards in the pet food industry in Canada. I want to feel confident that my beloved dog or cat consumes wholesome,, made from scratch with no additives, preservatives, added salt or sugar pet treats. In creating River Hound Human Grade Dog Treats, I hope to raise the bar in Canadian Legislation so that they recognize that 87% of all Canadians believe their pets are family. They deserve to be fed as such. I hope your dog enjoys these treats as much as I enjoy hand producing them in beautiful Trail BC.
