Well friends, we are sad to say we are not having any puppies these days despite our best efforts. Due to family circumstances we will not be starting fresh with another female as our kids need to be the priority right now. Thankyou to everyone who has supported us and been a good home to each of our pups. ❤️

We do have Theo, our male, he will be available for stud services to approved females 😊

We have another opportunity for you! Unfortunately, we are still struggling to get a litter here, waiting on seeing if my girl is currently pregnant.

BUT...

A friend of mine living near Regina, Saskatchewan has TWO female CKC registered pups available!! These sweeties have lovely parents from European lines. Pups are $2500, they come CKC registered, vaccinated, vet checked, microchipped, dewormed, well socialized both in and out of the house, and very well loved! If you are interested please comment on this post or send a DM and I will pass on contact info. Pups are ready to go now, lets find them a great home!

Good morning! We have a unique opportunity for Backwood families. This is Hazel, a three year old CKC registered female. Hazel came to us about six months ago hoping she could be a part of our breeding program. Unfortunately, she hasn't been a great fit for that, but she is a very kind and gentle girl. Hazel does have some nervous tendencies and will require a family that has time and patience to orient her into the home. Acreage living is also preferable for her as that's all she knows. She interacts well with our other dogs and has been good with our children. She has no allergies, and has been in good health. If you are interested and would like more information please send me a message. There will be a small rehoming fee for Hazel. Let's find this girl a great place!

Why so glum?? Well, we know some of you were hoping for a puppy arrival announcement around now.. sadly, no puppies are on the way. As I always say, I can make all the plans I like, but ultimately the dogs make their own plans.
We expect Tillie to be in heat in a few months, and if successful, puppies would be ready for their new homes mid July. We will keep you up to date! Thank you for your patience 💛

Hey All! Just an update for you, we are hoping for a litter to be ready to go Jan/Feb ish, but of course it's all up to Momma Tillie and what she decides to do! Can I also ask you a favour? Well, I know MANY of you were hoping for a litter of sweet Tillie pups at the end of the summer, unfortunately, due to family circumstances we needed to hold off until her next heat. We want to make sure our pups get all the love and attention they deserve. So, we hope for puppies ready right around Christmas. I am very sorry for those who have been waiting patiently!

Today we got to see one of our pups,"Rocky", that lives with a wonderful family in our area. He got to be in a parade today! He is also used as a therapy dog in our local school. What a good boy!

Hello!! Wanting to give everyone an update on our plans. We are hoping for a litter born late July, as always, this is dependant on if our Momma co-operates :) I have sent out an email to everyone on my waitlist to see who is still interested in a pup. If you did not receive and email and are interested please get in touch with me. We do, unfortunately, have more people on the waitlist then we will have puppies. But we will do our best!
