And they’re off! 🚗

Many of you OG followers remember Wanda & MoFi. MoFi was sent to us for an all inclusive Puppy Program all the way from Pennsylvania. This means he was with us for several Board & Train’s for the first 1-2 years of his life as he grew up from baby puppy hood to adult. He always did so well and grew in to being such a gentleman.

In 2022, his owners reached out to us about adding a second dog to their family. We imported Wanda from Germany and she has fit in to their family perfectly.

Fast forward to now, it was time for a little refresher training for them both after all these years. They came back all the way from Pennsylvania for 4 weeks of training that we just wrapped up. They left this afternoon with their transporters, but I miss them already and can’t wait to see them again! Just an incredible family with fantastic dogs.

It also happens to be Wanda’s 6th birthday today 🎈

Another one leaves the nest ✨

We had the sweetest family drive several hours to come meet Honcho (A Litter; Liška IGP3 x Yeti IGP1). Safe to say, not only did he win his new kids heart, but also the adults! He left HQ yesterday and I couldn’t be happier for him.

T-3 hours… We’re so excited to have for another Schutzhund Seminar Weekend starting tonight! It’s WAY overdue. Like a year overdue. For everyone who’s registered, keep your eyes peeled for a schedule (being sent out shortly) ✨

✨ Ot Voskhod Alma’s A’Gretal ✨

Gretel was picked up this morning and is heading back to her home out-of-state, after spending several days boarding with us while her human got to spend some time with family, locally.

During her stay it was crucial she was kept in an experienced, clean, safe, and structured environment where her sport conditioning could be kept up with. Malinois, Schutzhund, treadmill training? Right up our alley! 🤗

Gretel and her human will be competing in Schutzhund in Greece, May 2025. She is representing Team USA alongside 6 others. Stay tuned to our stories and page on how you can support them, and the rest of the team, on this exciting journey! Wish them luck in the meantime 🤍

Tab leashes are a product we use daily here in our training programs whether for puppies, adults, sport dogs, protection dogs and everything in between! Great for a quick grab without going for the collar, avoiding the “flinch reflex”, subtle correction, redirection, and so much more. We use it most for reinforcing bed command without the dogs feeling like they’re attached to a big clunky leash, we use it plenty in Schutzhund training, and of course with our Protection Dogs 🌟

Reason number 847392 why I will never go to a dog park.

And yes, this is entirely acceptable to shoot another dog, if they are attacking your dog. I’ll leave my personal opinions out of it for now and stay factual, but it is acceptable and allowed.

Control your animals and don’t set them up for failure.

A dog is dead after being shot by another dog owner at an Apollo Beach dog park on Monday night, according to the Tampa Police Department.
