When our latest shipment from Lemieux arrived, Blake ran to her room and took her hard earned money 💵out of her wallet and put it on her mom’s bedside table. She wanted to add to her collection, but also wanted to buy it herself and was proud that she could. She even remembered about taxes and shipping!

🤔Choosing which new Lemieux pony she wanted was a hard choice! She thought long and hard about it and after what felt like forever, she chose the perfect pony for her.

The highlight of the weekend was seeing these two running to the shop waving their gift certificates after killing it on their horses Sunday afternoon! They were SO excited!! ♥️🐴

Our shop is limited on space, which means it is very important that we stock the best products we can while giving our customers a good size and price range. We are proud of the brands we carry because they offer just that!

We have another busy weekend lined up and it starts tomorrow!

The shop hits the road for PLP in Sussex, NB tomorrow. We will be open for a couple hours for anyone moving in that may have forgotten something at home. We will open at 9:00am Friday morning until 5:30pm.

Early Saturday morning we will head to Pictou for two days with the MBRA.

If you are in the area for either make sure you drop by! We have lots of show shirts, men’s, ladies and kids jeans, other great apparel and tack!

Well that was a weekend! We started our weekend in Sussex at the PLP with our Codiac Reining and SNB penning friends. Then Sunday morning we hit the road bright and early for Windsor to spend the day with the MBRA racers.

We can’t thank everyone enough for stopping by! We saw so many familiar faces and loved meeting new people!

We have another busy week coming up of two awesome shows! We will post updates as we prepare for the weekend and hit the road!

1 year of this crazy ride called Rockin Roan!! 🎉🐎

What an amazing year it has been growing, learning, and selling! We jumped in with both feet last June and are forever grateful for all the support and encouragement we have received from our horse community.

Our shop has come a long way in our time being open and it has been a labor of love. We can’t thank our customers enough for helping teach us what you would like to have better access to here at home versus just online.

Our biggest lessons learned this year:

#1- Our horse community is thriving. The amount of events we have been involved in, invited to and asked to sponsor is beyond anything we expected! We love being a part of your shows and wish we could sponsor every single show and rider who asks. That leads us to our next lesson…

#2- One of our absolute favourite parts of this work has been the people we have met at shows we would not have gone to otherwise. We wish we could sponsor you all but we are rooting for you! As our business matures so will our ability to give back to our community in more diverse ways.

#3- The tack and apparel business is not for the faint of heart. It, as owning any business, is humbling, challenging and sometimes all consuming and it is amazing. We have seen many tack stores come and go to the Maritime provinces over the years. Some of our favourites to think back on are Ted’s Tack Shop and Wayne’s. We can’t possibly have everything everyone is looking for or meet everyone’s expectations but we certainly can try our best to serve our horse community with great products and kindness.
