LymeDefenses, Inc. Notification of Business Closing
It is with a heavy heart that I am posting this notice to inform our loyal customers that LymeDefenses, Inc. will be closing down our company.
Since 2017, we’ve enjoyed an unbelievable rate of success, all thanks to our valuable customers and their faith in us, but now, due to Health Canada rulings, we can no longer provide you with our chemical-free, lick-safe ‘Canine & Family-friendly’ Outdoor Body Treatment Products as they are now considered by Health Canada to be ‘unregistered pest control products’.
The cost of registration for a pesticide and review by Health Canada PMRA would start at $244,637.00 for EACH product and active ingredient used. This does NOT include the cost of third-party laboratory testing of the products to obtain the data required for PMRA review. Also, the time period incurred for registration of a pesticide in Canada can range from 9-18 months, depending on the category of submission.
