Marketplace reveals the growing number of vet clinics being bought up by international corporations across the country and reveals how those takeovers are driving up cost of care across Canada.

We have answered the call from our friends in for supplies and financial aid to assist with the devastation in California. Like us in times of crisis, they offer supplies to those displaced and safekeeping for those not able to be with their pets right now.

Many pets are seriously injured and in ICU through . We understand the position, the fear, and the overwhelming tasks ahead of them.

We are hoping to send a truck full of supplies down in the next 48 hours and collecting financial aid to support vet care bills. Melissa is on standby to travel down and assist in any way possible.

Many see the celebrities with their houses burned and wonder why they need help. I can assure you that the everyday citizens are in need and need us right now.

If you can support, we need litter, litter boxes, crates, harnesses, and collars/leashes. They can be dropped off at any of the drop-off locations on our website, or 6120 1a St SW.

We have spoken with the appropriate agencies, and government organizations and have permission to send these items due to the nature of the circumstances.

Always a good reminder…

Be careful if using candles. Tails and whiskers can easily get burned. A cat may also knock over a candle.
