Eclipse Acres Eclipse Acres This is a 36-acre hobby farm owned & loved by Deanna Russell. The third doc is her post-grad degree in zoo & wildlife medicine (DVSc, U of Guelph).

Deanna is a "triple doc" and works as both a family physician and a wildlife veterinarian. She is also trained as an acupuncturist, both for humans and for animals. Eclipse Acres is home not just to Deanna, but also her daughter and her many & varied critters that she joyfully shares her life with. These include dogs, cats, parrots, horses, alpacas & goats, and a donkey & a llama, too. Oh yes, and there is also a lovely garter snake who lives under the front porch!

Given that I moved from Eclipse Acres (Ontario) to Nova Scotia at the end of October 2022, I am retiring this page and will start a new one for the new Eclipse Acres, Maritime Edition!

Good-bye my beloved farm. I wish the new owners many years of joy here just as I had.
