Sunny and me. Love that girl 🧡
Oh these two lovebirds..
Hear the coyotes, too.
I think he’s warming up to me. Of course, with a little help from Amber too.

He arrived Sunday night after dark. Monday I simply spent some time near him, and Tuesday I started working with him. He’s reading my cues well for Day 1. Happy with him. #saskatchewan #ranchlife #horses #naturalhorsemanship
Alberta horse
On Sunday this 2yr old untouched draft x QH will arrive at the ranch from Pincher Creek, AB
He’s a pretty good size for two. That’s the draft. He’s going to board here so we have the luxury of time. Still, I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together!
You’re just too flippin cute, little Charcoal.
You can’t really hear it on the video, but when her one ear goes back a distant coyote just cut loose.

Meet Blue. He’s the happiest (and cutest) little guy💙
I love seeing the transformation in a young horse.
From unhandled, unhaltered & frightened of most everything~To calmness in being tied, saddle pad on and off, the pressure of weight on the back, being led with ease.
And most of all, their confidence.
I think Amber has made a new friend🤎
I haltered the mini for the first time today. She did great. And introduced a small blanket to Dakota. She wasn’t a fan at first, but relaxed with it on her back before long. They need to experience all sorts of new things, and you work them through it together.
End of week 1. These untouched gals have come far in a short time. I’m very proud of them. Calm and responsive. Haltered Dakota for the first time today. It’s too big for her, gotta buy a smaller one (for Sunny too when she’s ready).
Always learning. That goes for me too.
