Each individual animal is unique and we help tailor an appropriate natural diet based on each patient’s condition and nutritional needs. We also teach you how to help your animal companion transition to the new diet.

Happy Fall, Everyone!

Despite the summer-like heat, Thanksgiving is just around the corner! As such, our clinic will be closed on Monday, October 13th for the holiday and resuming normal business hours on Tuesday the 14th.

As we take this time to reflect and give thanks, we want to express how grateful we are for our incredible community and all the wonderful interactions we share each day. We look forward to continuing to care for you and your pets for many years to come.

Dear Holistic Vet community, we are looking for your help in finding a forever home for a very special kitty;

Meet Dexter – 13.5 years young!

Dexter has spent his whole life in a pet store, faithfully greeting visitors for over a decade. Now it’s time for him to retire and find a forever home where he can relax and be loved.

For now, Dexter is in a foster home, but he’s having a hard time adjusting with the other cats.

Here’s what makes Dexter special:
• He has never been the instigator in any skirmish.
• He’s fine with cat-friendly dogs and with cats who aren’t too territorial.
• He’s not a cuddly lap cat, but he has his own way of showing love.
• Outdoor time is very important to him – he’s happiest exploring outside and does well on a lead.

Dexter deserves a peaceful, loving home where he can enjoy the simple things he loves most. After so many years of service as the store’s greeter, it’s finally his turn to be cherished.

Greetings from the Holistic Vet Team! We hope that everyone is doing well and looking forward to this coming Canada day weekend! 🇨🇦

We just wanted to let you know that we will be closed both Monday June 30th and Tuesday July 1st. This means that Thursday June 26th will be our last fully open day before the break as Friday's we are only open for pick-ups/administration.

We will be back in for our regular operating hours on Wednesday July 2nd.

Victoria day is on its way which means that we are heading into a long weekend! We hope that everyone is able to kick back and relax and enjoy the sun ☀️.

Please note that we will be closed on Monday May 19th and resuming normal business hours on Tuesday.

Fun fact:
Queen Victoria Loved Pets!
- According to Queen Victoria’s diaries, she owned 640 dogs spanning 32 breeds.
- Her favorite was Dash, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
- She even had a tombstone made for Dash that reads, “His attachment was without selfishness, his playfulness without malice, his fidelity without deceit.”

To allow our team to spend precious time with their families, we will be closing early at 4 PM on December 24th and will resume normal business hours on January 2nd.
