TwelvePaws is a brand new Canadian shop that opened September 2016. I know better than most that every dog has an extremely unique personality.Working with dogs for many years I came to learn very quickly that every dog is different and they can all teach us something. As the owner of three beautiful female dogs with each their own very distinct personality, I wanted to create accessory products t

hat suited them. My products are created one hundred percent by me. Every fabric is hand picked by yours truly and I cut, sew, iron, stitch and package all my products in my home surrounded by my three adorable fluff butts (who model for me whenever I ask). Because I started out this business with the simple desire to make my own dogs some fashionable neckwear, I decided right from the start to donate 1$ from every item purchased to a local animal shelter. I truly believe that animals are the essence of my happiness and every little bit helps when finding these beautiful creatures homes. So, if you love exploring, are a little wanderlust, and can't live without the natural beauty of our wild world I think you might like some of our merchandise. I’m finally all caught up on holiday orders 😅🎄 Any outstanding orders would have received a shipping or pickup notification today - yay! Lots of our Christmas items are currently on sale and with limited availability, but I will also be having a tiny Black Friday sale. I’m going to try to spam some holiday content over the next couple weeks to clear out some more holiday inventory 🙊 so please browse away my animal loving friends and thank you for shopping small and support local! 🫶🫶

Why is posting on here so hard for me 🙈 I totally did have some fall posts planned but we’re now fast approaching winter and I’m having some holiday orders come through so I’ve added some holiday stock to the website for any interested. These tags are also super duper stocking stuffers for the dog peeps (or the dogs’ own stockings because I know who my people are on here and I know y’all have dog stockings lol). I also have four new aztec style prints from one of our Canadian suppliers that have just arrived in the 🐌 mail. I’ll try to post those soonish!

I hope all my local folks are enjoying the absolutely stunning fall weather we’ve been having and I’ll try to get on here a couple more times to bask in the holiday madness a bit before going full hermit/hibernation mode in January 😉

On September 25th, I married my best friend and partner of 6 years, Kris. We were joined by our immediate families and also, of course, Kiska and River. If you’ve been following TwelvePaws for a while, you know how important these two are to me. They are both seniors now, and I am beyond thrilled that they were able to join us in this next chapter of my life. Of course, I also had to make their floral collars to match my bouquet. They were such good girls that day, I couldn’t believe Kiska fell asleep right on my dress. 😂 It’s crazy to take a step back and think I’ve almost been running TwelvePaws for 10 years now. It’s hard to believe all the life moments this small business has joined me through, including this one. Thank you for continuing to support me on this journey. TwelvePaws wouldn’t be here without you!
