She is now known as.....
🐾 BPIG Ch Mylestone's I'll stand by you - Emma 🐾 Before 11 months of age, in 6 ring apearences and only 3 days of shows she won multiple best of breeds, from the classes over specials, and best puppy in group to become a Champion.

🐾 BBPIS MBBPIG BPIS (ltd breed show) MBPIG Ch Mylestone's Princess Esmerelda of Lancre - Esme 🐾 Won Multiple Best of Breeds, a Group 4 and more Best Puppy in Groups.

This puts Esme in the top 30 sheltie and top 15 sheltie puppy in Canada over 4.5 months.

We had a great time this past weekend at the Burlington Show, Esme - BBPIS, MBBPIG, BPIS (Ltd. Breed Show) MBPIG, CH Mylestone’s Esmeralda Princess of Lancre was awarded BPIB, Multiple BOS and Select. At the Dominion Collie & Shetland Sheepdog Association (DCSSA) show she was awarded Select in a very competitive group over multiple Specials. We introduced Esme’s sister, Emma - Mylestone’s I’ll Stand By You, who was awarded Reserve Winners in the DCSSA for her first time in the ring. Then I really had some fun and showed both Esme and Emma together and was awarded Best Brace in a Specialty Show (DCSSA). A huge thanks goes to my friend Ivan Fabina (Fabina Shetland Sheepdogs) for co-handling with me and my mentor, Bonnie Taylor (Bonnyville Kennels). We are grateful to all our friends Dorothy, Janet, Shannon, Julie, Donna, Dee, Trish, Cyndy, Melissa, Shellie, Linda, Barbara, Stephanie, Yvonne and Carlos for cheering us on.

Thank you to judges, Dann Wilson, David Gilmour, Ann Felske-Jackman, and Sandy Alexander (DCSSA) that appreciated this charming girl.

We are very pleased to announce our newest Champion, BBPIS, MBBPIG, BPIS (Ltd. Breed Show) MBPIG CH Mylestone’s Esmeralda Princess of Lancre. Esme finished her championship in style at 7 ½ months of age handled by myself and Ivan Fabina.

Our little shinning star moved delightfully at the Oakville, Kilbride, and Elgin Shows, and achieved Best Puppy in Show (Dogs of Great Britain and Ireland Limited Breed Show), Multiple Best Puppy in Group, Multiple Best of Breed over specials, with Group placements.

Esme is finding her stride and writing her story in the show ring and we can't wait to see what she will do next as she works toward her Grand Championship title!

A huge thanks goes to my friend Ivan Fabina (Fabina Shetland Sheepdogs) for co-handling with me, and to my mentor, Bonnie Taylor (Bonnyville Kennels), for coming to cheer us on.

Mylestone’s Esme, showed her heart out and moved beautifully for her Baby Puppy Show career and we could not be prouder of her. Across 8 shows Esme was awarded 8 Best Baby Puppy in Breed, 6 - Best Baby Puppy in Group, 1 - Reserve Best Baby Puppy in Show and 1 – Best Baby Puppy in Show! I have had so much fun running around with her in the ring. It's clear that Esme really loves to show.

A huge thanks goes to my friend Ivan Fabina (Fabina Shetland Sheepdogs) for professional grooming, and my mentor, Bonnie Taylor (Bonnyville Kennels), for helping to train with this little girl.

It was an phenomenal first show for our newest Mylestone potential at the recent Monarch Kennel Club show in Dorchester. Esme (MBBPIG, BBPIS - Mylestone's Esmeralda Princess of Lancre), Sire Teagan (CH Brantstars Timeless Trend; 1st, 12-18 month sable and white ASSA 2024) X Dam Cinder (Mylestone's Phoenix Rising), was awarded multiple Best Baby Puppy in Breed, multiple Best Baby Puppy in Group, and a Best Baby Puppy in Show. Esme really enjoyed her first time in the ring!

2024 ASSA: What an amazing time!

This was the first time I went to this show and it exceeded all of my expectations! It started with a road trip adventure with my good friend Ivan Fabina and our sheltie family. Opening night was filled with meeting up with the rest of our Canadian Sheltie Team and making new friends (everyone there). The next few days were filled with a ton of adventure and laughter. Some of the highlights were: learning seminars and chat room conversations - I did as many as I could and enjoyed them all; judging mentoring sessions, which were a fantastic insight into the judges’ minds; and of course the actual showing where my girls, Mylestone's Queen of Avalon (Guinevere) and Mylestone's Princess Leia, showed their hearts out!

Congratulations to all the winners, including Brantstars Timeless Trend (Teagan) for winning his class. Teagan is the sire of my newest puppy potential Mylestone's Esmeralda, Princess of Lancre (Esme).

There were just so many lovely, beautiful shelties!!! I am extremely happy and grateful to have met so many friendly, kind-hearted shelties lovers who were willing to share their knowledge and love of this incredible breed.

Thank you to all the organizers, judges, and many people that volunteered their time to make this amazing show a success!

Group Photo! We are now seven weeks old and our main goal in life is PLAY. Wake up in the morning, time to PLAY! After breakfast, PLAY. Mid-afternoon siesta is over, guess that means it's PLAY TIME! Don't worry, we make sure we play so hard all day long, that we're ready to sleep by 10pm. (Of course, 6am PLAY is just around the corner...)

There were EIGHT in the bed and the little one said, "Roll over, roll over..."

These cute little fluffs took over mom's bed while she was outside getting some much needed R&R - that's running and rolling time.

Week 3 was definitely a busy week! Our eyes and ears are open and it's a whole new world out there. We've started walking to explore, playing with one another, and even started to bark!

Despite her fiery name, Cinder certainly loves the snow and we know these girls can't wait to get a little bit bigger so they can join her.

After the group photos a few days ago, it was time for some individual shots.

And today is all about the boys! This litter's father is GCH Brantstar's Timeless Trend (Teagan) and we can see these male puppies are absolutely planning to take after dad in looks and star power!

It was our one-week birthday and to celebrate we had the usual - lots of milk and snuggles with mom! It's been tough on her with eight of us in the bed, but she's been doing great to make sure we each get special attention and love.

On January 18th, Mylestone's Phoenix Rising (Cinder) decided it was time for us to meet her 8 adorable Sheltie Puppies.

Cinder is such a wonderful, natural mother, and the puppies are quick learners! We already know this will be a special litter. This litter was sired by GCh Brantstars' Timeless Trend (Teagan).
