This is incredible!!!

When Lizz and Daryl from Northern Mat & Bridge called and said they were bringing a giant cheque for a cheque presentation to us, we didn’t expect that the amount they were donating was also going to be giant!! Our staff were completely blown away when they turned that cheque around to show us they were donating $20,000!! Squirrel and Dex were just as excited as our staff to hear about the amazing donation! Squirrel jumped right into Daryl’s arms to give him big THANK YOU kisses! This donation will help a lot of animals and comes at a time that it is needed more than ever before! Thank you to Northern Mat and Bridges for running a super successful Charity Shoot and for donating $20,000 to help us help more animals!

This is incredible!

Meet P***y, a little lady who had a big stroke of luck on her side! Weighing barely 300g, she miraculously survived being out at Two Lakes Provincial Park all by herself at. A caring human thought he heard small cries and his wonderful doggo honed in on the sound, leading his human right to this little babe 🥺

And what makes this kitten rescue even more adorable to us is the dog who found little P***y happens to be one of our recently adopted puppers, Vision! You may remember a post back in May about 23 puppies who came into our care and 7 of them started having seizures shortly after. While, little Vision was one of the pups who had experienced the horrible cluster seizures and was able to make a full recovery. The fact that he’s thriving and adventuring with his new family PLUS saving other wee souls just makes our hearts explode! He is definitely living up to his superhero inspired name 😍

Many thanks to Vision and his dad for rescuing this precious babe. There is no doubt that P***y would not have survived long out there and was very lucky the duo was there to save her 🥰
