Burrage Vet Services was established in 2002 by Dr. Pat Burrage who moved to the area to take over the existing large animal practice in Bluffton. The large animal component of the practice includes beef, equine, sheep, and the alternative livestock ( elk and bison)

To our customers with Charge Accounts:
As the Canada Post Strike continues, it looks unlikely that resolution will be reached by the time we typically send out monthly statements.

To help you out better, you can call the clinic at 403-843-8463 during business hours to talk to the staff and we can arrange a way for you to get your statements. You can always stop in and see us while you are driving by for help too.

Any one who misses getting in touch with us will likely receive a phone call if the strike isn’t resolved by mid December. If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us!

WHO DARTED?! We have partnered up with BCRC (Beef Cattle Research Council) to have a hands on seminar about darting.
Cattle producers and their veterinarians see the need for remote drug delivery devices (RDDDs) when animals can’t be caught or there is severe risk to the handler, and timing of treatment is critical for a favorable outcome.
We have a limit of 30 people and allowing 2 people from each farm. It will be held at the Bluffton Hall on Nov 6/24 at 10:00am. There will be lunch served and demonstrations to follow.
