Yesterday was a gorgeous day for GiGi and our flock of rescue animals to get out and enjoy the sunshine! Having been born into a factory farm, they’d never experienced the feel of grass under their feet or the warm sun on their faces until they arrived here at PAWS Pet Sitting. Now they spend their days doing what nature intended for them; foraging for bugs, eating the sweet spring grass and digging for worms. They’ve all escaped from what seemed like an inevitable end, but will now spend the rest of their days here in peace and happiness ❤️

We’d like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and well wishes that we’ve received for Leander’s recovery! She is dealing quite well with the loss of her eye and has learnt to compensate in the best ways that she knows how. Today was the first day that we took her back outside and she immediately went back to her favorite pastime, splashing around in the water and hunting for worms! 🪱🦆❤️
