We are so excited to announce that we are expecting Mirabel's first litter, due to arrive around New Years!
Thanks to Gisele for letting us use her sweet, handsome boy Aries for this breeding.
The Miracles are 7 weeks old today and they are busy busy busy! Today we introduced an baby activity mat and they loved it!
After a few minutes, Mirabel got a much closer look. Good job little one!
Yesterday we introduced a “twerking llama” and here is what happened. There is also a follow up video…
4.5 weeks old!
We never got around to doing their ”4 week” photos and here is why. So we will try for “5 week” photos on Friday! Busy busy puppies!
“Look out mouse, I’m gonna get ya!” - Camilo, maybe
The first time I made this sound, Bruno let out the teeniest little bark…but he wouldn’t do it again. The Dachshund stubbornness has arrived early!
Quinn (Admindac Quintessential Edition) had a fantastic barn hunt practice today. She is very comfortable running around the ring, tunneling and hopping up on the bales and she is really starting to turn on to the gerbils. We are lucky to have access to a couple of facilities in our area offering private and safe practices so she will be ready for the next trial!
Quinn Sprinters practice July 26
A beautiful day for a Sprinters practice...Quinn is still very excited about catching the bunny!
Another video of Potter and Quinn in the barn hunt ring together.
Potter teaching Quinn about Barn Hunt
I booked a private barn hunt session at Prairie Dog Sports in Blackfalds for Potter’s birthday and to give Quinn some more ring experience. They had a blast! Potter ran a perfect Master run, then on the second run we were clear but timed out.
Then it was time for Quinn to play! She is getting more comfortable in the ring for sure. There was a dock diving seminar happening at the same time with lots of barking dogs and splashing from the pool but she didn’t seem too concerned. She had another stranger in the ring (wearing a mask at that!) and wasn’t phased, especially when she got to see the gerbils! Towards the end of the session we decided to put both Potter and Quinn in the ring so Potter could show her what to do. They worked very well together and had a great time...thanks Alannah!
