❗NOVA SCOTIA ROUTE CHANGE ❗ For those of you that didn't see our post Thursday, moving forwards the routes for both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are changing. We are moving to a one person delivery route after i put the van out of commission last Sunday. Given the large area of Nova Scotia we were previously delivering to, this unfortunately means we will be removing some areas from our route as it isn't possible for one person to deliver to all locations in one day. For anyone that has already put in an order for an affected area, we will be in touch over the next few days to either make alternate arrangements or refund your order. Please see below for the new route and estimated times - we may need to adjust this over the next delivery or two as we work out the kinks and see what the winter weather has in store. Order reminder for this Sundays New Brunswick deliveries! Please have your orders in this evening on the website at eastcoastexotics.ca ❗There will be a slight change in route as Jason will be doing the deliveries solo - Rachel's usual route will be earlier than normal, and Jason's usual route will be slightly later than normal. ❗ I will also be adding 2 new stops to the website today which our Bouctouche area customers are already aware of - we now have meet locations at the Rexton Irving as well as the River of Fire Market in Elsipogtog. If you are placing your order before i get these added and are looking for one of the 2 new locations for pick up - please select the Bouctouche meet and let us know in the notes section which location you would prefer (those customers we have delivered to already at these locations, no need to contact us, we have already updated it on your order) I will try and get the times updated for each meet location on the website as well for the next delivery as it will likely be a one person delivery route for at least the next few months. I decided we should have some venison for Christmas Dinner when i was delivering in Nova Scotia on Sunday but only succeeded in putting the van out of commission 🦌🤦‍♀️ I guess at least it wasn't Rudolph and Santa's deliveries were not disrupted! Any of our NOVA SCOTIA customers reading this - NS will now also be a one driver route. This means we won't be able to get to all the locations given the Geographical distance and we will be exploring options with Canada Post and UPS for the interim. Areas likely affected, will be Berwick, Kingston, Middleton, Bridgewater and Chester. In addition to alternate shipping options, people in these areas may wish to organize a group delivery/pick up amongst your selves if you are unable to get to Upper Tantallon or New Minas (at this time we think these will be our closest delivery points to the affected locations). PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION AND ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS We have decided to try out a once a month reptile shipment based on daily requests from people looking for amphibians and tarantulas which are not readily available locally 🌟We do not have the animals in our possession, or any information on them - we will simply be the delivery method. Availability will vary monthly depending on their stock. We will not be bringing in any reptiles that are not ordered 🌟 ❗THIS MONTHS ORDER DEADLINE IS MONDAY APRIL 8TH AT 9:OO AM. In addition, we will be charging our usual delivery fee which ranges from $5.75 - $20 depending on if you are getting a home delivery or heading to your nearest meet location for pick up. ❗The reptiles will be arriving APRIL 10th and will be delivered to you on our next delivery run to your area.
