Hooray, our burr gherkin plant is producing!
Cam found a neat looking cucumber at a farm stand last summer. We did some research, saved the seeds, and we got 1 of them to germinate. We have been watching it so closely and it’s so exciting to see it producing fruit! I can see already that I need to construct a bigger trellis.

The silver lining of this story is that in a few weeks I’ll have a good amount of sugar peas, the not so silver side is that I have no microgreens to sell at the market today 🌱
Last week we had a few warm days and I didn’t adjust the growing conditions quickly enough so everything was ready to harvest on Wednesday instead of this morning.
