🐾 Thank you again to everyone who sent donations to help us out. We raised $1195 - so nearly the entire amount for the biopsy. Unfortunately the test results did come back positive for cancer & to make matters even worse, Dr.Deepa said even if we had removed the tumour, it’s likely that it had already spread & even if it hadn’t, it would return in 2-6 months. We have made the choice we felt was the most humane in regards to quality of life for our Bud. His appointment to head over the rainbow bridge is tomorrow morning. Please, please send Steph some love. She & her family are devastated. Bud has brought so much joy to them. He is SUCH a little character with a big personality. Bud is always so loving, playful & gets along perfectly with the rest of the kitty family. Although Bud is just 5 years young, he has had a wonderful little life; we have all been so lucky to know him & to love him. Im sorry we don’t have better news but we need you to know that helping us to aleast find out the truth, even though it’s hard, you helped us get closure & gave us the chance to explore every option.

🐾 Hi Friends,

Unfortunately we got a worst case scenario kind of update. We were scared but truly felt we would have options since Steph noticed so quickly & got him in to the vet so quickly. I’m going to give Steph some time to process everything before sharing anymore details for now.

Thank you so much again to everyone who jumped to help so quickly at a time when we had very little to almost no information to share. It says a lot about all of the people we have met over the years and we truly feel so lucky to know you & have you all as a part of our little rescue.

Steph still hasn’t gotten the biopsy results back for Bud yet. He’s hanging in there but it’s rough… we’re very worried.

We just wanted to send a big thank you to everyone who has donated already. There’s no words to describe how grateful we are. We are hoping for the best case scenario here but bracing for a hefty bill at the same time so thank you so much for helping us.

🐾 When the new adoptor doesn’t ask a single question & instead, without hesitation, goes & gets the new kitty a laptop so he can watch his favourite show in his decompression room - that is how you know for sure you picked the right people 😹❤️😻

🐾Congratulations Merlin (now Tails) on finding your forever home ❤️ Huge thank you to this amazing family for coming back to us after their senior boy passed away & adopting a second kitty so that the previous kitty they adopted from us (Boots) wouldn’t be alone. Despite their own grief & loss, they put Boots needs ahead of their own & knew he needed a brother ASAP. It’s stories like that that remind us just how incredible the people we meet are. We are so sorry for your loss & so grateful you came back to us as well. We’re sending you all the most love ever ❤️

We have a reputation of having the nicest kitties. I have another one. Merlin is literally the most incredible boy. He will follow you everywhere and curl up in your lap all the time. He actually would prefer if he could curl up around your neck. He is the nicest kitty. We are specifically looking for another young kitty to be his best friend. He’s very friendly and loves love. So if you feel like that’s your home, can you please send us a message?

🐾 Congrats to Jax & Jewels on finding your forever home with the most wonderful parents we could have wished for!! Sarah & Brandon had visited the babies every day since they began our multistage application process, they prepared their home with all the essentials the babies would need (and more), and were patiently waiting to find out if they were chosen. Tears, hugs & happiness were shared tonight as this amazing new family of 4 start the next chapter of their lives. Thank you so much Sarah & Brandon; we could not be happier ❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations 🥳

🐾 It truly takes a villiage to continue to rescue kitties and we’re so grateful for everyone in this community who continues to step up and help eachother out. We owe a huge thank you to Peel Animal Rescue Society and Action Volunteers For Animals who both stepped up to each take on a pregnant Mama. We rescued these 2 girls out of a nightmare hoarding situation that we simply weren’t prepared to be able to help with ourselves. One mama has already given birth to 7 beautiful kittens - but the most important part is that both of these girls will never be used for breeding ever again & instead will get a loving home with family that adores them for the first time in their lives.

Next we owe a massive thank you to Miss Dixie's Foundation for the huge donation they were able to give us! So, so, so many kitties will be fed by this donation.

Lastly, a huge thank you to everyone who follows and supports us. We’ve taken a bit of a step back and have been operating a little more on the sidelines this past year - but even still, we still feel so much love & support & it’s very much appreciated. We love you all very much ❤️❤️❤️
