Monaghan Heights Stable

Monaghan Heights Stable is a family run lesson and boarding barn located near Bailieboro, Ontario. We also host barn schooling shows and clinics.

We are conveniently located 10 minutes south of Peterborough, 15 minutes north of Port Hope, or 7 minutes east of Millbrook. English & Western Lessons available from OEF & Centered Riding Certified Instructor Leona Lambert-Spence. Disciplines include Dressage (Training), Hunt Seat (Flat and Low Fences), Eventing (Novice), Western (Equitation,Reining, Games, Pleasure), Saddle Seat (Intermediate), D

riving (Basic, Intermediate). Leona's students are showing in KLDA and KHJA shows this summer. Loving family atmosphere where safety is the priority.

Lisa writes: After we ride , Ruby loves to sit on the rock and watch the horses. She loves the peacefulness of the open fields and connecting with all the horses. She loves their interactions and frolics, and could spend hours here.

yesterday we had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to a very special old man. unfortunately Teddy’s teeth brought him to the point he could no longer eat & in typical Teddy fashion he let us know & we are thankful he did.
of your 31 years we thank you for giving us 22 of the them 💕you touched many peoples hearts & were an incredible partner!
our hearts are broken & we miss you dearly. the barn is going to be an awful lot quieter without our barn greeter.
