We are with MacKenzie Kennels Agility Club - NADAC Agility Trial at Mac Island having fun watching the dogs do their runs. Come by and see these awesome dogs race through the track and grab your dogs an ice cream treat they will be licking their lips for.

Thank you to everyone who came out to get their dogs ice cream and other treats. It was a warm one and nice to finally sit in the sun. Now this boss is going to sit in a cold bath and try and cool down about 10 degrees.

Tomorrow and Monday hoping to finish our float decorations for the Canada Day parade.

Due to crappy weather and a broken tent we will be postponing being at the independent until further notice. Hoping to have the tent fixed quick to be able to be back up and running ASAP. Beacon Hill Food Store has been absolutely amazing to us by being the first Fort McMurray store to take on our treats. They make amazing food and have so many fun things. I can’t wait to head over and take time checking out all the other shops. See you there!

Save-On-Foods Thickwood for donating snack goodies.
And
Mini Green Havens for helping with information and I know they are getting goodies ready as well to send out.

We spent the day going out to the crews working the fire bringing food and drinks. They are an awesome group and we were so happy to help get them these resources.

A personal experience, I was talking to a paramedic who one of his first fires was the Lost Creek Fire in 2003 and he remembered the bagged lunches that were flown out. I was one of the teenagers making those lunches and thinking how cool it was what I was making was being flown towards the fire for these guys. Having that connection was the highlight of this experience.
We did go to the fire hall but they said so much food had been dropped off so we took what we had remaining to the Quality Hotel in Gregoire that are housing many of those fighting the fire and they took what was left to give these awesome people as they came through for shift change.
Awesome job Fort McMurray on helping feed all these people trying to save our city.
Proud to be part of a community that takes care of those fighting tooth and nail to take care of us! Cannot say thank you enough to everybody that was a part of today.
Also watching helicopters take off and land was awesome.
