Here at Littleleaf Farms we are proud to offer our customers a variety of microgreens that are grown using organic methods with consideration for the health of consumers and the environment. All of our microgreens are grown in Ontario with certifiedd organic and GMO-free seeds. We use organic certified soil and ozonated water for the most naturally grown greens. We are dedicated to working with ou

r customers to ensure that they receive the best quality produce that fits their specific needs. We harvest and deliver our microgreens within 24 hours to ensure that they have a fresh crisp flavour that is sure to have a BIG IMPACT.

All of the microgreens listed on our MICRO-MENU are ready for delivery in 1-3 weeks and are guaranteed fresh and flavourful. If you require a variety that is not listed CONTACT us and we will make it available to you ASAP! About the owners:
For as long as they can remember co-owners Jon and Larissa have been intrigued by nature and our place within the natural world. They believe that food fuels the body and good food enlivens the spirit. Working with plants in a farming situation has been a lifelong ambition. They both have extensive experience working with plants. Larissa is a certified Horticultural Technician with experience growing a variety of crops including microgreens. Dedication to the health and well-being of their customers, stewardship of the planet and providing a top-quality product are the motivating factors at Littleleaf Farms. :)

Hello!!😊👋 Here is a quick update on how the 1st batch of Basil is coming along! Really happy how it's turning out so far 🙌🙏🌱 I think it might even be ready for next week. So stay tuned samples coming real soon and we will be stocking up 🙏🥰🙏

The last pic is of Holton's basil that he grew all by himself.😍 It's also growing beautifully. He has announced that he will be opening up his own Basil Shop called Holton's Basil Shop and will be our direct competition lol 🤣😆💙

It's always a good day when your basil has near 100% germination! (Holton planted this batch with me and he definitely has a green thumb!) This is 2 weeks worth of growth and is almost ready to be transferred to the nursery channels! Can't wait to have living basil again!! 🌱🙌😍

Hey everyone, I know I haven't posted on here for a min. But I wanted to come on here and express my deep gratitude to all of our amazing customers. Thank you all so much for your loving support and condolences during the last few weeks as I grieve the loss of my dear beloved Dad ❤️

Grieve is different for everyone, but one thing for sure is it can definitely be difficult to navigate, especially when a loved one passes quickly. It makes it harder to comprehend. Im still in disbelief most days. Its crazy how one moment you can feel like you've got this and then the next moment the heartache takes over. My Dad was an amazing human being and we shared a very special bond. I miss him immensely.

Thank you to everyone for baring with me and being so patient, understanding, kind and loving during this time. It has not gone unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone! 3 weeks ago we welcomed our sweet baby girl Althea aka Thea to the world!! 👣✨💖 We are all doing good and adjusting and adapting to our new schedules! Holton is thrilled to be a big brother💕...most days Lol

Today we are reminiscing and anxiously awaiting for spring to arrive so we can get back to growing lettuce!!!😋 The feedback was terrific and we appreciate everyone who enjoyed our lettuce last year!!!🙏❤ Hopefully by next winter we will be able to afford to winterize our greenhouse for year round growing!!!💪🤞🎉

Update: As many of you know by now we built a greenhouse over the past few months and have started growing our hydroponic lettuce again! It's been a great few months and we appreciate all of your positive feedback! Unfortunately the colder months are now arriving and we are not able to afford the cost to winterize and heat our greenhouse :( but we will be working extra hard this spring/summer/fall and saving up to winterize for next winter! Thank you all so much for your continued local support and paitence 🙏🙏🙏❤

Happy Monday everyone!!! Just another day at the "office". We are so thankful to see our grow space full again (besides a few crops) Our hearts are so full of gratitude for everyone's patience as we recouped after that crazy storm a few weeks ago. We are excited to announce soon a new location where you will be able to purchase our microgreens!! Such a good day to do some deliveries!! Thank you to Baxeter Creek Golf Course and !!! Holton found some rocks to add to his rock collection at Baxeter Creek lol and loved getting his picture snapped by the lake when we dropped of Kitchen Farmacy's order at the Country Cottage show in Lakefield! Our power is restored! Thank you so much to all the hydro workers and arborist working around the clock to restore everyone's power! Please bare with us as we lost a lot of our microgreens due to the power outage. We will be in touch on Monday to all of our customers with another update. Thank you ❤

We are on day 3 no power or running water due to the storm. Please be patient with us this week. We will update as soon as we can but please note our cell phone reception is not working. Keeps cutting in and out. drove to bowmanville to get gas (after siphoning gas from our lawn mower lol because all the gas stations around us are down too) Hoping power comes on soon. And again thank you for your patience as we work through this.

Happy Thursday fine folks!!! Here I'm holding a tray of our custom Leafy mix blend! Red cabbage, micro lettuce and Kale! Perfect addition for soups, salads and sandwiches!!!!

🌱Cabbage micros are packed with vitamins C and K! And are an exclennet source of fiber, beta-carotene, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iodine, and sulfur!

🌱Kale micros are a good source of vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, as well as calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, carotene, amino acids, and protein!

🌱Micro lettuce is a good source of Vitamin A, folic acid and vitamin C. In addition to these vitamins, lettuce is also rich in important minerals such as iron, calcium and potassium. 🙌🎉

Workin with my lil helper today! Holton has been planting his own small 5x5 microgreen trays for the past few months! I think this summa we will have to start up his own lil microgreen stand lol he has quite the !
